Unaccompanied Minor
Child travelling alone (without parent/guardian) is called as unaccompanied Minor. Upper age limit for
unaccompanied minor is 12 years. Lower age limit is 4 or 5 depending on airline.
CHD tag should not be used when booking ticket for unaccompanied minor. To sell a segment for
unaccompanied minor, UM action code followed by age must be added to sell from Amadeus Availability
or else SSR element must be added. Any of the method can be used to sell a segment for unaccompanied
minor.
To add an SSR element for an unaccompanied minor manually after end of transaction, enter
the age of the unaccompanied minor as free-flow text, following the SSR code.
Some airlines also request that you send address information of the persons collecting of leaving the minor
at the airport, or the child's date of birth. This information is usually entered using an OSI element.
Depending on the airline, the information required in the SR OS segment might be different. For
information about particular airline, check GGAIR pages

If Stretcher passenger does not require Extra Seat for Oxygen Kit, accompanying doctor/companion may be
input in the same PNR.
Else if Oxygen Support is required then companion like Doctor/Nurse/etc. is travelling along with Medical
Stretcher Passenger then PNR should be created separately like a normal PNR and both the PNR (PNR of
stretcher passenger and Travel Companion) should be cross referenced for Seat Allotment.
For PNR, with both Oxygen Kit and Stretcher Request , both CBBG and MEDA request should be added. If
Oxygen Kit is not required, then there is no need to add CBBG element
Pick up 2 seats in case of Cabin Baggage or Extra Seat and just add tags mentioned above as the first name of second
