M1 PLATE 1 MANUAL PRESENTATION
DUE: MONDAY SEPT. 11
Problem Statement
The progress of the nation is dependent on the level of education its citizens possess. Education trains a
person with skills he needed to get job and earn a living. Education equips its citizen with basic training to
read, write and do basic math in order to follow rules and regulations and take part in the community
activities. Education changes the behavior of people since knowledge gained will have impacts on their
daily lives.
Preparing a person to become a better person and to be useful to his community through education is the
primary goal of any educational institution. To preserve values, customs and traditions and introduce
change in the way people do things and think for the better are the two essential objectives of the school.
All these educational attributes take place in a physical environment that stimulate one’s mind to think
and one’s emotions to response. The school building, facilities and its surroundings contribute in changing
the mental, social, emotional and physical aspects of the students.
In these regard, a proposed secondary school is to be constructed offering the best quality education that
is value and culture-oriented, child friendly, gender sensitive, safe, and motivating environment. The
school director wanted the exterior environment to stimulate the thinking and creativity of the students.
In order to materialize these ideas, the school director wanted to incorporate exterior designs that will be
appreciated by KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS.
