As a student, how do you show your duties and responsibilities as a Filipino citizen?
Student’s Answer:

Abiding to NSTP law is one of my duties as a Filipino citizen. It is my responsibility to attend and
actively participate in the NSTP course. Before doing my duties and responsibilities, I should recognize my
nation first.

I am a Filipino and my nation is Philippines. That being so, I must show respect to the Filipino culture
and traditions. I should be a catalyst for national development. I should know the laws governing my
country. I should maintain my Filipino identity and dignity. Having volunteerism as one of my identities
gives me an innate responsibility to foster social justice, solidarity, and sustainable development. A great
example of showing my duties and responsibilities is Participating in the school’s morning ceremonies
which singing the national anthem, honoring the raising of the flag, and reciting the nation’s patriotic
oath. Displaying a warm and hospitable demeanor to people will preserve my Identity.

To sum it up, I must be a genuine citizen towards my nation. Thus, I should stay true to my country,
love my country, and do what I can do for my country
