What is the importance of having set of values in our society?
Student’s Answer:

By having a set of values in our society, we can see our sense of right and wrong in our values. They aid in
our personal development. They assist us in building the future we want. Our daily decisions are an
expression of our values.

Filipino Values are the norms or values established by Filipino society as the foundation for right and
wrong, as well as for understanding and valuing the positive aspects of Filipino values.

Filipino culture is a fusion of several racial and cultural groups, and this has shaped the way of life that our
people live. Like the European's Christian ideals, American pragmatic and democratic principles, and Asian
spiritual values.

These influence us towards how we act towards others and ourselves throughout our lives. Our values are
influenced by our environment and the people we surround ourselves.
