ACTIVITY TITLE: Essay #1
REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
What are your expectations to the CWTS Course?
Student’s Answer:

Civic Welfare Training Service [CWTS] is one of the components of National Service Training Program
(NSTP) that inspire the youth to have a civic engagement and defense preparation program. Basically, it
specializes in its contribution on the overall welfare and the betterment of existence withinside the
community. Along with embracing values and practicing leadership qualities, it also involves raising
students' civic engagement and awareness.

I think the CWTS course will really help us interact with various situations in the community. I expect that
this course to provide a variety of activities and allow us to participate in a community that will let us
understand the different situations and arising issues which will enable for us to create solutions for the
community’s development. Additionally, I anticipate that the CWTS course will increase my awareness
regarding the problems confronting our nation, particularly those that are widespread but which we are
unaware of. With this course, it will truly help college students to cope up with those kinds of problem
that we encountered as it will bring us to the right direction to picture the success of our country. Since
this could ignite a shift for all of us, I'll admit that my expectations are rather high. I think the change we
want to see is feasible if every citizen does their part in the community.

As our national hero proclaimed that “the youth is the hope of our future”. Hence, this course is offered in
colleges in an effort to help us broaden our perspectives and effect change in our society. Since these
individuals, our nation will change for the better. Thus, I believe that I can make a difference in this world,
and it begins within myself and with the help of the CWTS course.
