ACTIVITY TITLE: Case Analysis
CASE STORY TITLE: Volunteerism

Conflict Identification
We have many opportunities to collaborate with the government, as well as with
national strategies, and other stakeholders in the field of development in our country
(including the government, the private sector, and the third sector). distrust and lack of
experience have stifled progress. There is a problem in identifying needs in other
countries and monitoring and evaluating volunteering activities. Lacks the ability to
ensure that we preserve local ownership, remain needs-based, and build long-term
connections with recipients. Another major problem is the lack of information, which
makes it difficult for volunteers to create a solid foundation of knowledge. When poor
countries like the Philippines can't share best practices and experiences, they can't
effectively lobby or create more successful programs because of these knowledge gaps.
Plan of Action
Volunteering is often taken for granted and undervalued as a rewarding and
energizing experience. As a result, our overall shift toward volunteerism may be an
important component of government efforts targeted at welfare reform, employment, and
education policy. We have to work hard to make it a priority. What are our plans to do
this? To begin, we might examine how encouraging young people to be proactive and
involved undermines their ability to exercise sovereign action and choice by making
volunteering an instrument of social control. Students' reactions to these initiatives must
be studied to see what external policy elements institutions and academies respond to
promote volunteerism. According to what I've heard from students and other
stakeholders, increasing volunteerism should focus on connecting the expectations and
goals of young people with institutional policies to promote and support volunteerism.
Reflection
The only thing we need to do is look and care enough to put in the time and energy.
We are rewarded for our compassion when we have the chance to rebuild our faith and
establish a fulfilling life. Jaja's volunteer experience is striking in its simplicity. We live a
meaningful life when we put our compassion into action and our understanding into
service. As a volunteer, you're making a long-term commitment to yourself and others.
