ACTIVITY TITLE: Case Analysis
CASE STORY TITLE: Volunteerism

Conflict Identification
The primary conflict in this instance was not made explicit. Nonetheless, the case itself contained
some internal disagreements. One of the difficulties was a person's integrity when it came to
volunteering because some people merely see it as an extracurricular activity or as something
that may be exploited. The situation highlighted the need for volunteering to be a more sincere
and passionate service. Furthermore, even though there are numerous opportunities to
volunteer, people frequently offer justifications, such as their age, for why they are unable to do
so. Finally, individuals fail to appreciate the virtues of volunteering and how much good it may
do.
Plan of Action
Communities must make a variety of volunteer opportunities available that are broad enough to
accommodate a range of personalities and skill sets, such as outreach programs and charity
events. People will be motivated to participate because they can pick the volunteer opportunity
that best suits their personality and skill set. Within the community, this event can be held at
least twice or thrice monthly. The second strategy involves motivating the kids by explaining how
they may contribute, volunteer, and affect change. The kids who are confused and misinformed
about how to volunteer or assist can benefit from this since the majority believe that
volunteering calls for certain skills and talents.
Reflection
After reading and examining the case, I made some volunteerism-related discoveries. I concluded
that I must view volunteering as a sincere service rather than something I may use to my
advantage. I should think about how it will assist others rather than just myself. Also,
volunteering has many advantages for volunteers because it might act as a jacket on chilly nights.
It might be a chance to relax or escape the tension and troubles in your daily life. We ought to
appreciate the virtues of volunteering and helping others.
