Give your thoughts on what are your roles in the University’s initiative towards sustainability and
development for our partner communities. (The University’s initiative can be referred from the activities
on Radiance Journal as reflected on the QRCode link.)
Student’s Answer:

The initiative is what makes a community or the environment a much better place in terms of being a
disciplined individual who thinks of what they can do to contribute to an institution where they belong to.
Each institution, like any university, has what we call “goals” or vision and mission, and this always aims to
provide sustainability and development for our partner communities.

As a student, my role in the University is to follow the rules and regulations set by the institution. It may
be simple, but a student who follows simple rules and regulations from the institution can significantly
impact and maintain its school’s image, where students are known to be excellent and know their
responsibility. Aside from that, giving the school an honor by participating in the programs organized by
the University or partnered organization, primarily when the activity will be implemented, improves our
minds and institution.

The University is well known for being a top engineering school in the Philippines but, aside from that, one
of the most initiative programs I love that MAPUA has been doing is the free conducting of lessons like art
lessons, drafting, and more, which is very effective, especially for those who are in need. I hope this kind
of program will continue and expand.

Give your thoughts on the learnings you gained through this course, its relation to your duties as a
citizen and your future actions in fulfilling your commitment to the community.
Student’s Answer:

CWTS102 is a course that teaches students how to deal with different people while also promoting values
that will help their allocated community thrive. Students become self-sufficient and learn to manage their
obligations as either leaders or followers to fulfill their roles in their different communities. The CWTS102
course is an important aspect in building a person's characteristics and values, which will assist our
community grow and prosper for the greater good.

As a CWTS102 student, I acquired a lot of concepts and principles, as well as how to conduct a case analysis
effectively and accurately. In today's world, the CWTS is evolving to the point where it can assist in learning
more about this specific course through the usage of internet platforms. CWTS is a flexible course that
should be needed of every student for them to understand correct values as well as how to communicate
with a variety of people. This training has made me realize how important it is to learn values as well as
how to communicate them. To be successful, you must interact with others.

As a result, I conclude that we must learn and use what we learned in the course CWTS102 in our daily life.
The course teaches me how to be a better person by emphasizing the importance of values and how to
communicate with others.
