Solving Quardratic Equations

(By Extracting The Square Root)

A quadratic equation is x ax2 + bx + c = 0, which is a second-
order polynomial equation in a single variable. with a ≠ 0 . It has
at least one solution because it is a second-order polynomial
equation, which is guaranteed by the algebraic fundamental
theorem. The answer could be simple or complicated.
Step 1: Extract/Take the Square Root of both sides.

Step 2: Evaluate or simplify.

Here are the 5 examples of solving quardratic equations:

Example 1 – Simplify: x =81

√ x =¿ √ 81¿
2

x=± √ 81

x=± 9

Step 1: Transpose - 25

Step 2: Evaluate or simplify.

Example 2– Simplify: x −81 = 0
