Personal Income Tax

Checklist of E (employment) Visa Recommendation Letter (What kind of documents need to submit)

(1) Copy of Project Registration/Memorandum and Article of Association and Certificate of

Incorporation of the company;
(2) Copy of board Resolution for engaging of foreign national/s in Bangladesh mentioning name,
nationality & passport number;
(3) Photograph of applicant;
(4) Copy of passport of the expatriate employee (Whole of the used part) each of the pages
chronologically;
(5) Copy of appointment letter/services contract or agreement for expatriate with mentioning actual
salary and other benefits;
(6) Copy of all academic, professional & experience certificate as per advertisement;
(7) Paper clipping showing advertisement (at least 2 daily newspaper, English & Bangla and job related
website of Bangladesh) made for recruitment of local personal prior to appointment of the expatriate's;
(8) Copy of evaluation report on the selection of application received according to the
recruitment circular including the name, mobile number, and email of all the candidates.
(9) Specific activities of the company (in company letterhead pad);
(10) Copy of statement of manpower showing list of local and expatriate personal employed
with designation, salary break-up, nationality and date of fires appointment;
(11) Copy of Encashment Certificate of inward remittance of minimum USD $50,000 as
initial establishment cost for the 100% foreign ownership company;
(12) Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate of the company;
(13) Copy of a plan substituting local workers by giving training for human resources development by
the foreign worker for whom E-visa recommendation have been sought;
(14) Copy of Registration of BIDA (if applicable);
(15) Financial Audit Report (if applicable);
(16) Other documents (if necessary/applicable) in accordance with the industrial policy 2018.
