Writing evaluation

1. Write about your experience in a city that you have visited. You have to be detailed in
your writing and explain: What you did, who you went with, how was your experience
there, and anything else that was interesting for you.

60 – 85 words

2. Write a personal profile: Your personal profile must include: description words of
yourself (name, age, email, where you live, looks, personality, etc.), likes and dislikes,
hobbies, and education.

75 – 90 words

3. What is your favorite holiday and why? Explain with as much detail what your favorite
holiday is and give reasons why everyone else should like the holiday as much as you do!

90 – 120 words

4. Use the internet and give a small biography on your favorite celebrity. You must
include facts like: Name, age, place of birth, famous songs or movies the person has made,
brief history of the person, and any relevant information that would be interesting to the
reader.

120 – 150 words

5. Planning a night-out with your best friend or a girlfriend. You have to explain in full
detail what you would do if you were planning a special night for a friend or girlfriend.
Give details and list the events that would take place during the evening. Remember to
explain: Place where you would go, how much money would be spent, food and restaurant
that you would eat at, the activities planned for the night, etc…

Number 1 “Experience in a City”

Two years ago, I went with my cousins and my uncle to Tuxpan, Veracruz, we arrived
there very late, first slept. In the morning went to virgin beach, I swam and ate some
oysters. The second day again went to the beach but when we came back to my uncle’s
house, ate “taquitos” in a near place there. For the last day, happened some very funny
because my uncle forgot the car’s key and we can’t go out. After intent open the car, my
uncle decided call a key master and he open the door of the car and we can go out.

Number 2 “Personal Profile”

My name is Jesus Alberto Hernandez Zavala, I’m 17 years old, my e mail is

jesus_herzv@outlook.com, and I live in San Jose, Chicoloapan. I’m average tall and slim.
I have dark hair, dark brown eyes and pink lips.

I’m very friendly, relax, I think the life is easy if you only do that you want. I like go out,
play videogames, specially fifa, do exercise and I love the sports, specially football and
tennis. I hate the false people.

Now I studied, graphic design at UAM – Xochimilco.

Number 3 “Favorite Holiday”

My favorite holiday is September 15ht, since two or three year ago, I go out with my
friends, we organize a little big “party”, because only are six or seven persons but always
finished very drunk. Its complicate explains what do in specific, because every year we
intent do some different and better last year. I think, this is like a free night for us.

But not only is a special day for drink, also is for celebrate ours independence, now a lot of
Mexicans doesn’t know what happen this day
