Exercise 1

Geographically, Indonesia is traversed by the equator so there are only 2 seasons, namely summer and
rainy season. Therefore, it is very important for us to understand what important factors exist in these
two seasons so that we can better prepare ourselves in an effort to live in peace with nature. One
important factor that determines the season is the rainfall factor.

Rainfall is the amount of rainwater that falls on an area in a certain period of time. In other words,
rainfall is the volume of rainwater that collects in a flat area in a certain period.

Usually rainfall is expressed in millimeters. The rainfall data displayed is the height of rainwater that
collects in a flat area of 1 square meter. So, if the rainfall is 1 mm, it means that the volume of rainwater
that collects on a flat area of 1 square meter is 1 liter. In general, rainfall is categorized into 3 categories,
namely low (0-100 mm), medium (100-300 mm) and high (300-500 mm).

Look at the following rainfall data for Samarinda City throughout 2017 (in mm, rounded to the nearest
unit):

161 139 88 343 309 421 161 250 100 152 219 223

lowest score of the examinees who passed the test?
Exercise 3

A computer laboratory will hold a reduction in the number of CPUs based on its hardware performance
measured through an application. From the measurement results obtained data as follows.

test score 61-65 66-70 71-75 76-80 81-85 86-90

frequency 2 4 8 12 6 8

If the computer to be reduced is 25% of the total existing computers, the highest test score of the
hardware performance for the reduced computer is ….

Exercise 4

Consider the following student grades.
