Dear Sir,
Under the instructions received and on behalf of my esteemed client, Mr. Mark,
residing in Civil Lines, New Delhi-110002 (hereinafter referred to as 'my client'), I
extend to you the following formal notice:
4. It was only on 06/12/2023 that my client became aware of the dishonor of the
aforementioned cheque.
5. In light of the dishonor of the cheque, you, as the addressee, are deemed to have
committed offenses punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,
1881, as amended up to date.
Through this formal notice, I hereby demand that you, the addressee, remit the sum of
Rs.2,00,000/-, representing the amount of the dishonored cheque, within fifteen days
from the date of receipt of this notice. Failing compliance within the stipulated
timeframe, my client will be compelled to initiate legal action against you,
encompassing both civil and criminal proceedings, at your own peril regarding costs
and ensuing consequences.
