Moodle Resources

1 This is the key resource to supporting your learning. Familiarise yourself with all the
materials on this site. If you do not have access, you have not enrolled.

2 There is a site for online students and campus students (PG Dissertations).

3. Once you have completed the workshop or watched the videos you need then immediately to
fill out the Research Topic Form. The completed form needs to be emailed to the Course
Administrator. Once the form is received, we will allocate you an Adviser. It is important that
you complete the form quickly.

4. On the Moodle site you will find a podcast giving you more background on the dissertation
module and the three assessments. There are also guides for using the library and some of
the digital resources available to you to support research such as SPSS, NVivo and previous
dissertations. You will also see a comprehensive suggested reading list, but please
understand there are a large number of similar resources available online in the library.
There are even videos about why a literature review is hard to do and the basic arguments
for qualitative methods in research.
