In pursuance of the Government of Sindh Notification bearing No. SO(CTCYSGA&CD/COVID-19/Committee/2020 dated 24.03.2020 and 08.04.2020 constituting a Committee {consisting of Additional Chief Secretary (Home) as Chairman, Secretary (General Administration), Secretary Industries & Commerce and Commissioner Karachi Division as Members, and Secretary Labour & Human Resource as Member / Secretary} constituted to redress and resolve any issues of importers and exporters that may crop up during the lockdown in Sindh, the committee examined the requests / applications received from the export-oriented industries in the light of Home Department Order of even No. dated 14" April 2020, wherein such industries were allowed to operate subject to the condition of ensuring adherence to SOPs bearing even No. dated 14" April 2020, issued by Home Department in view of COVID-19. 2. The record received from Labour and Human Resource Department was examined and the following export-oriented factories / manufacturing units were found fulfilling the criteria as per the Order and SOPs referred above fie. (i) Verification of export order by TDAP, (ii) Undertaking by CEO/owner on ensuring arrangements within their premises as per SOPs referred above for COVID — 19 prevention, and (iii) List of workers/staff/management who will be present/working in the premises of factory/manufacturing unit during its operation}.
