CENTRAL PARK OF PITALITO

In the central park of Pitalito we can found different beautiful places how the shopping center
UNIPLAZA it have 4th levels, in the first level you found the stores of clothes, shoes and gifts, in the
second stores for house, in the 3rd is the food court and the zone games for children, the better site
for family and friends is in the 4th floor when we can see the movies and eat pop corn in the cinema.

There you can found the church San Antonio this is the insignia principal of this city, when the people
visit our city they normally search this site for the architecture and pray for you owns necessity’s,
around of park exist the banks, cooperatives and financial entities.

Very near of park is the building municipal administration where the people pay your taxes and the
rulers make the laws, and the next block we found the museum of Pitalito in the next point we speak
about it characteristics and information general for visiting.

MUSEUM OF PITALITO

The museum of Pitalito is a very important site for visit when the foreign arrive in our city because
here we can know many important information about Pitalito and the towns near. There we can see
archaeological elements found in this area that date back hundreds of years, when indigenous tribes
inhabited these regions. We can also find a room with artistic samples of the different artists from
Pitalito, who make ceramic crafts that is the emblem of Pitalito since it is a town dedicated to crafts.
Giving a special space to an important artist called CECILIA VARGAS who is famous for creating the
so-called Colombian chiva.

GUITIPAN LAGOON

Beautiful place to share with the family and observe the beautiful landscapes offered by the lagoon
that characterizes the tourist ring of Pitalito and southern Huila.

LAND OF GIANTS PARK

It is a beautiful park we can find 15 minutes from the municipality of Pitalito in the south-eastern
mountains, surrounded by coffee cultivation, a beautiful view of the municipality of Pitalito and
some very large and well-crafted stone figures that beautify the landscape.

NAKAMA LOOKOUT

This viewpoint is a place from where you can see all of Pitalito and the beautiful mountains that
surround it, people usually get there by bicycle and enjoy a beautiful landscape and delicious
gastronomy.
