INTRODUCTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

 HISTORY:
The Punjab Group of Colleges (also known as The Punjab Group or PGC)
has its roots in a Commerce College set up by Mian Amer Mahmood. The chairman
of PGC network is Mian Amer Mahmood. Now the new Chairman of Punjab Group of
college is Tayyab Mehmood. The Network laid its foundation in Lahore in 1985. Over
a period of last 31 years, PGC has become the Largest Educational Network in
Pakistan. PGC has head office in Lahore Pakistan.

Punjab Group of Colleges is one of the largest educational networks in Pakistan, it

campuses are located in several cities throughout Pakistan, PCG has a good
reputed for its quality education and it gives a comprehensive education solution for
the students from beginning to the higher education in Pakistan. It has around 500
000 Student body; through its network of plus 350 Allied Schools campuses, 230
plus Punjab Colleges campuses and 3 chartered universities enroll over 20,000
students each year; universities names are as follow the University of Central Punjab
located in Lahore, the Capital University of Science & Technology located in
Islamabad and Mohammad Ali Jinnah University which is located in Karachi city.
This allows students to remain with one institute from right beginning of their
educational career from school to the completion of higher studies at university level.

  OBJECTIVES:
In 1985 Chairman Mian Amer Mehmood set the foundations for Punjab College
in Lahore with the purpose to not only educate the youth at the intermediate and
graduation levels, he also wanted to maintain a high quality of teaching methods.

 SERVICES:
Punjab College has grown into the largest network of colleges in Pakistan
having 417 campuses, 700 plus Allied Schools and includes 3 chartered
universities, Capital University of Science & Technology – CUST in Islamabad,
Mohammad Ali Jinnah University in Karachi, and University of Central Punjab in Lahore.
