12. 1 v 1 Passing or Dribbling.

Description:
Max 45s/ Round Area: 20 x 20m.
The structure of the exercise is illustrated in
the adjacent pictures.
The coach passes the ball to the player he
wants to attack. In the picture, he has passed
the ball to the red player.
The red player receives the ball and tries to
score a goal in one of the two goals.
At the same time, the blue player becomes a
defender and tries to prevent the red player Elite.Soccer.coach
from scoring.
In the goal with cones, one must dribble
through for a goal to be accepted.
In the small goal, it is permissible to pass the
ball in to score a goal.
If the defending player captures the ball,
he/she should try to score on the opposite Elite.Soccer.coach
side.
There, the previously attacking player now
becomes a defender.

As a coach in this exercise, you should

coach the players on the following things:
Dribbling technique: Emphasize the
importance of having control of the ball,
using different dribbling techniques, and
being explosive in movements. Train the
players to be creative and use feints to Elite.Soccer.coach
deceive the defender and create spaces for
themselves.
Decision making and goal threat: Help the
players to make fast and right decisions
based on how the situation looks, both when
it comes to dribbling through the cones and
when it is better to pass into the small goal.
Also focus on improving their finishing
ability.

27. 2 v 2 + 2 Neutral Players (With Possessing Team).

Description:
1.5-2 min/ Round Area: 25 x 20m.
I this 2v2 game, it transitions into a 5v2 game
for the team in possession of the ball.
The objective of the exercise is to score the
most goals against the opponents.
In the outer zones, there are two players who
are playable for the team in possession of the Elite.Soccer.coach
ball, including their own goalkeeper.
Only the two players in the middle are allowed
to score goals.
The players in the outer zones (N) are only
allowed two touches, and the goalkeeper is
also limited to two touches.
The players in the middle have unrestricted
touches. If a goal is scored, the game restarts
from the team's own goalkeeper.

As the coach in this exercise, you should

focus on coaching the players on the
following aspects: Elite.Soccer.coach

Communication and teamwork: Encourage

players to communicate and work together to
exploit the numerical advantage. The players in
possession of the ball should be aware of their
teammates' positions to make effective passes
and create dangerous goal-scoring
opportunities.
Quick decision-making: Train players to make
quick and correct decisions when in possession
of the ball, with particular attention to the
players in the outer zones and the goalkeeper
who have limited touches.
Elite.Soccer.coach
The players in the middle have unrestricted
touches and should be ready to take
advantage of that and create space.

57. 5 v 5 Backwards Goal Game.

3 min/ Round

Area: 20 x 40m.

Elite.Soccer.coach

Description:
In this exercise, teams play 5 versus 5 with reversed goals. The game is directional, so each
team defends one goal and attacks the other. A player from each team is placed in front of
the opponent's goal (in the goal that they aim to score in).
So, in the middle of the playing area, players have free touches and as soon as they get the
opportunity, they should pass the ball to the teammate in the zone in front of the
opponent's goal.
This player must then attempt to score with a single touch.
It is therefore important that the player shows clearly where they want the pass to be made
and positions themselves to receive the ball. If you want to challenge the players further,
you can add the rule that the ball must be played in the air to the player in front of the
opponent's goal.
As a coach in this exercise, you should coach the players on the following things:
Movement and positioning: Emphasize the importance of correct movement and
positioning to create opportunities for passes and finishes. Train players to move off the
ball and make themselves available by creating space and adjusting their position to receive
passes in front of the opponent's goal. Encourage them to communicate clearly to facilitate
the passing game.
Passing technique: Work on the players' passing technique and accuracy to deliver passes
in front of the opponent's goal. Practice different passing techniques, including aerial
passes if you have challenged the players with this.
Encourage players to be careful and aware of where they are directing the passes to give
their teammate the best possible chance of scoring.

61.5 v 5 Game with Team Goals.

3 min/ Round.

Area: 25 x 25m.

Elite.Soccer.coach

Description:
In this exercise, 15 players are divided into three teams, with five players in each team.
Six goals are set up, with each team trying to score in two of the goals.
If the red team is the ball-holding team, they should try to score in the red goals.
If they succeed, the coach plays a new ball to the red team.
At the same time, the blue and yellow team should try to regain the ball as quickly as
possible and put hard pressure on the ball-holding team.
If the red team loses the ball to, for example, the blue team, both the red and yellow teams
become defending teams.

As a coach in this exercise, you should coach the players on the following things:
Build up play and ball control: Ensure that the ball-holding team has a good build up play
and can maintain control of the ball. Practice passing games, reception techniques, and
movement to avoid losing the ball under hard pressure from the opponents.
Pressure and defensive play: Emphasize the importance of the defending teams, the blue
and yellow team, putting hard pressure on the ball-holding team. Practice organizing the
defense, marking techniques, and quickly regaining the ball to prevent opponents from
scoring.

68. 6 v 6 +6 Play.

3-4 min/ Round.

Area: 35 x 25m.

Elite.Soccer.coach

Description:
In this drill, the playing field has the same structure as shown in the image above.
A total of 18 players are divided into three teams.
Two of the teams play against each other inside the playing area, while the third team is
positioned outside the playing area and supports the team in possession of the ball.
When a team has the ball, they can create a numerical advantage of 12 players against 6
players by taking advantage of the third team, which plays exclusively with the team in
possession.
There are no limitations on the number of passes within the playing area.
However, the players outside the playing area are restricted to touching the ball only once,
i.e., one touch.
The goal of the drill is to maintain possession within the team.
If the team successfully completes 12 passes within their team, they are rewarded with 1
point.
As a coach in this drill, you should focus on coaching the players in the following
aspects:
Speed and decision-making: Since there is a numerical advantage, the team with the ball
should act quickly and make rapid decisions. Being aware of players' positions, finding
open spaces, and making quick decisions about passes are crucial for maintaining
possession and achieving the necessary 12 passes.
Ball control: Due to the limitations on touches outside the playing area, it is important to
have good ball control within the team. Players must be skilled at receiving and passing the
ball with precision to avoid losing possession.

get one point.
If the other team succeeds in scoring
goals, they get one point.
