Group presentation

Dear teacher and classmates, good afternoon. Today our group will bring you a

presentation on the topic of the Colonization(靠了奶贼深) of Mars. Here’s the

catalog and the first part will be given by me, the next three parts will be given by
YuYanzhi, WuTianyu, and Du Zhe respectively.
And here’s the first part, when we talk about the Mars immigration we often have
this question: why Mars? Well, to answer this question I divide it into two parts, why
should we do it and why can we do it. ……………………Although many countries
have taken corresponding environmental protection actions, our country has even set a
goal of carbon neutrality. But global warming is still the most serious environmental
problem in the world today. ……………………When we were in primary school, the
world's population was 7 billion. When we were in junior high school, there was 7.5
billion people in the world. Now we are in college, the world's population has reached
8 billion. As a matter of fact, in the past ten years, the world's population has
increased by 1 billion. The earth's resources are limited, but the demand is unlimited.
So for long term consideration, we need to find a second home: that is Mars.
For Mars itself, what we need to know is that the physical and chemical properties of
Mars are most similar to Earth and there was water on Mars a long time ago.
Secondly, compared with other planets, Mars is not that far from the earth. Therefore,
Mars is the most likely of all observable planets for us to immigrate to. For our
current technology, we know that in 1946, the United States created the world's first
computer, the ENIAC, marking the beginning of the third technological revolution.
During the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union, the
development of aviation technology led to the success of a series of space programs

such as Ga garin's first entry into space and the Apollo(啊炮咯) moon landing.
And now that we have entered the 21st century, the space technology is developed
rapidly. So for the question why Mars, there a conclusion that the economic
foundations determines the superstructure. The development of technology is the
economic foundations and the immigration to Mars is the superstructure. So to answer
this question: why Mars. We can make a change with President Kennedy’s famous
saying, but this time we don’t choose to go to moon. We choose to go to Mars!
