GC Pressure Adjustments
A Column Gases:
Epc1_op: (operational 40-50psi) 1psi = 6 sec

B Column Gases:
Epc2_op: (operational 6-8psi) 1psi = 50 sec hydrogen and oxygen, and maybe methane, CO
Epc2_b: (operational 16-20psi) 1psi = 10 sec methane and CO *only*

Note: If epc2_op and epc2_b both need to be adjusted, always adjust epc2_op first

Standby Pressures:
Epc1 ~ 11 psi
Epc2 ~ 1.5 psi

HyperTerminal Connection
1. Here are instructions for connecting directly to the monitor via the hyperterminal program
2. Using the Serveron supplied serial cable, connect the RJ45 to 9 pin adaptor to a laptop serial
port. The other end of the cable is connected to J11 on the monitor system board. If the laptop
does not have a serial port, a 9 pin serial to USB adaptor will need to be used.
3. Open a new HyperTerminal connection.
4. In the Connect To window, select COM1. Most laptops with a serial port will use COM1. If the
laptop does not have a serial port and a 9 pin serial to USB adaptor is being used, then the COM
port will likely be something other than COM1. To find out which COM port to use, go to
Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Ports. This should tell you what USB
COM port to use. Using the USB adaptor cable for the first time will probably require loading
drivers from the disk that comes with the cable.
5. In the Comm Properties window, select 9600 bits per second, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit,
and no flow control. Hit OK. HyperTerminal is now ready to use.
6. Enter username Serveron and password LoginFailed at the prompts to start a CLI session with
the monitor.
7. You should now be able to communicate with the TMx monitor.
