3. Long PDF enhancement - single page per scan
Long PDF file generation has been improved to remove the separate
pages that existed in the previous version. Long scans now create
a continuous page from any mix of page length, width, resolution
and color mode up to a maximum internal storage file size of 4GB.

V1.9.1.3 REQUIRES A MANUAL UNINSTALL OF PREVIOUS VERSION
This web download is a self-extracting installer. To install, run

from the browser or save the above named file to a temporary location
then double-click it. Administration privileges are recommended.
This version installs Profiler 1.0.0.2 automatically. No uninstall

of any previous version of Profiler is necessary. Profiler does
not appear in the list of installed programs in Control Panel.
A change of installer means that for this version only the

uninstall of the previous SmartWorks Pro program cannot be
automated and any release prior to this must be manually removed.
See below for further instructions.
IMPORTANT:To uninstall the previous SmartWorks Pro go to

the Windows Control Panel, Programs and Features and locate
SmartWorks Pro then click Uninstall. Manually install this
version by extracting the zip file to a temporary folder then
double-clicking the file called setup. Follow the prompts as
required.

2. Support for long PDF files implemented (with 50� page breaks)
PDF files are no longer restricted to 65k lines and images of any
length and width can be produced as long as the internal file used
by the program does not exceed 4GB. PDF viewers will display long
scans as separate pages or a continous scan separated by a dotted
line at the page break(s). Scanned PDFs will re-open inside the
program but no page breaks will be visible.
Other changes:
This package installs the Profiler program.
Known issues:
A re-install or update of the Sentinel dongle driver may be required
after certain Windows 10 updates. The latest drivers are available at
https://sentinelcustomer.gemalto.com/sentineldownloads/
Additional:
For best results SmartWorks Pro profiled scans should always be

viewed on a monitor that has been colour profiled using a colour
profiling tool (not supplied) and viewing software compatible
with ICC profiled images.

this software.
2. For users upgrading to this version please note that the speed control has been
changed to a quality control which installs at maximum quality. To reset the
software to default to maximum document scan speed, please move the slider to
position #1 (fully to the left) then eXit the program. Factory installed Presets
and new installations are not affected.
