Motivation

Motivation: the factor that influence the behavior of employees towards achieving business
goals.

Features of motivated workforce:


• Higher labour productivity, better quality work
• Lower absenteeism 旷工 (employees’ on-attendance at work without good reason)
• Lower labour turnover 员 工 流 动 率 (the rate at which employees leave a business),
improved labour loyalty

Benefits of motivated workforce:


• More sales revenue 销售额高
• More efficient production 效率高
• Lower costs 成本低
• More profit 收益高

• Varied and challenging work – job enrichment 挑战性工作
• Responsibility – allow to make decisions about their tasks 责任心
• Advancement – opportunities for promotion 晋升机会
• Sense of Achievement – reach challenging goals 成就感
• Recognition of achievement 认可感
