The Polishing Cloth is a small piece of off-white microfiber cloth sold by Apple Inc.
since October 2021 as a screen cleaning aid for its laptops and mobile devices.[1] It is
also intended as a replacement for the cloth that comes with Apple's monitors such
as the Pro Display XDR, and is the only cloth Apple customers are instructed to
clean the "nano-texture glass" with.
The tech website iFixit 'disassembled' the cloth as part of a tongue-in-cheek product
teardown, describing it as being composed of two layers and having "a distinct
synthetic leather feel (...) with a hint of fuzziness, similar to Alcantara."[4] The cloth
also has the Apple logo embossed in the bottom right corner.
The Apple Polishing Cloth hype train continues today. This time, the New York
Times has published a new story going in-depth on the demand for Apple’s $19
screen cleaning cloth, quoting an anonymous Apple official in saying that the
company is apparently “not surprised” by the demand.
If you head to the Apple Store Online today to buy a Polishing Cloth, Apple is quoting
delivery estimates of 10-12 weeks. The company also says that the Polishing Cloth
is “currently unavailable” at its retail stores, signaling that in-store supply is
unavailable.
The Polishing Cloth has been the breakout star from Apple’s “Unleashed” event held
last week. As today’s report points out, the Polishing Cloth is technically not a new
product. It had previously been included exclusively with Apple’s Pro Display XDR,
but only last week did the company make the decision to start selling it separately to
the masses.
The MacBook is a brand of Mac notebook computers designed and marketed by Apple
Inc. that use Apple's macOS operating system since 2006. It replaced
the PowerBook and iBook brands during the Mac transition to Intel processors, announced
in 2005. The current lineup consists of the MacBook Air (2008–present) and the MacBook
Pro (2006–present). Two different lines simply named "MacBook" existed from 2006 to
2012 and 2015 to 2019.
The MacBook family was initially housed in designs similar to the iBook and PowerBook lines
which preceded them, now making use of a unibody aluminum construction first introduced
with the MacBook Air. This new construction also has a black plastic keyboard that was first
used on the MacBook Air, which itself was inspired by the sunken keyboard of the original
polycarbonate MacBooks. The now standardized keyboard brings congruity to the MacBook
line, with black keys on a metallic aluminum body.

APPLE iPAD
iPad devices can certainly be considered groundbreaking. It was the first such successful
combination of a computer and a phone features that revolutionized the mobile industry.
The first iPad 1, released in 2010, has been a great success, with many people wanting to
see the convenience and functionality of the device. The life cycle of the first generation is
quite short because it was withdrawn with the release of the second generation, a year
later. iPhone has come to life of the consumers and has accustomed them to Apple's unique
ecosystem, but also to the design that makes the iPhone, despite its popularity, still a
premium product. iPad devices can certainly be considered groundbreaking. It was the first

APPLE iPOD
The iPod was a series of portable media players and multi-purpose mobile devices designed
and marketed by Apple Inc. The first version was released on October 23, 2001,
about 8+1⁄2 months after the Macintosh version of iTunes was released. Apple sold an
estimated 450 million iPod products as of 2022. Apple discontinued the iPod product line on
May 10, 2022. At over 20 years, the iPod brand is the oldest to be discontinued by Apple.
Like other digital music players, some versions of the iPod can serve as external data storage
devices. Prior to macOS 10.15, Apple's iTunes software (and other alternative software)
could be used to transfer music, photos, videos, games, contact information, e-mail settings,
Web bookmarks, and calendars to the devices supporting these features from computers
using certain versions of Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Apple iPod’s sales declined to a mere 26 million units in 2013 after reaching its peak sales
of over 54 million units in 2008. Apple could not revive the iPod in spite of the introduction
of the iPod Nano and iPod touch.
The decline stage of the iPod can be characterized by deep discounts offered by Apple,
which generally maintains a premium pricing strategy for most of its products.
It is likely these discounts played a role in the decline sales of the iPod as the iPod followed a
different pricing strategy to Apple’s iPhone and iPad.
