GENDER EQUALITY

“WE ARE ALL EQUAL”

Gender equality is one of the most divisive issues in the world today. In
addition to being a fundamental human right, gender equality is also a
precondition for a society that is stable, affluent, and sustainable. But why do
we need it, exactly? Why is it important to promote gender equality? People of
all genders should have equal chances, rights, and responsibilities. Gender
inequality has an impact on everyone, including men, women, transgender
and gender nonconforming individuals, kids, and families. People of all ages
and ethnicities are affected. Gender equality is desperately needed. Violence
against women and girls is avoided by gender equality. It is necessary for the
health of the economy. Women and men are valued equally in societies, which
are safer and healthier. Human rights include gender equality. Gender equality
helps everyone. Women may actively participate in development, support, and
dissemination networks thanks to ICT. Additionally, they give women access
to new careers, interactive learning opportunities, tele information programs,
and knowledge and information that will empower them and enhance their
quality of life. How helpful can ICT be in terms of promoting gender equality?
The internet, computers, and mobile phones are examples of information and
communication technologies (ICTs), which have immense potential to
empower women all over the world. ICTs give people access to training and
market data that can benefit both men's and women's enterprises.
