Monitoring and Implementation

• Senior Leadership Team will regularly monitor progress of disadvantaged pupils


through pupil progress meetings and pupil conferences.

• Targets will be set for disadvantaged children and teaching staff will be accountable
for providing updates on the progress of these children.

• Reports will be provided by SLT to governors on the impact of pupil premium spending
and the progress of disadvantaged pupils

* Purpose of Lancashire Reading Partners training:

• To provide a clear structure and training for delivering catch-up reading sessions which will
support children’s progress from their starting points.
• To develop word reading (phonics), fluency and comprehension skills.
• To promote engagement and enjoyment of reading.
• To enable children to make rapid progress in reading.
• To provide support materials for planning, teaching and assessing children’s progress.
Review: Last year’s aims and outcomes 2020-2021

As SATs and assessments were cancelled due to Covid in 2021, there is no data to support outcomes
for this period
