Title: Mathopoly: Transforming Learning into an Engaging Adventure

[INTRODUCTION]

Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us today. We stand before you
as the creators of a groundbreaking educational game that has the potential to
revolutionize the way we perceive and engage with mathematics. Allow us to present
Mathopoly: where learning meets excitement.

Speaker 2: (Mathopoly logo displayed on the screen) As we delve into the details of
Mathopoly, envision a world where mathematical challenges seamlessly blend with the
thrill of a strategic board game.

[GAME OVERVIEW]

Speaker 3: Mathopoly is not merely a board game; it is an immersive mathematical

journey. The game board itself is a vibrant landscape, full with mathematical challenges
that players must overcome to advance. Our game summarizes the essence of learning
through play, merging the fundamentals of mathematics with the strategy of a classic
board game.

[SLIDE 2: Mathopoly Board]

Speaker 1: (Displays the Mathopoly board) Here you see the Mathopoly board, carefully
designed to engage and challenge all players. Each square presents a unique
mathematical problem to solve, ensuring that players not only navigate the board
strategically but also hone their math skills in the process.

[GAME MECHANICS]

Speaker 2: (Mathopoly game pieces displayed on the screen) Let's explore the game
structure and mechanics.

Each side of the square board is divided into 9 small rectangles representing specific properties,
stations, utilities, a jail, and various other places and events. At the start of the game, each player is
given a fixed amount of play money (19,720 amount of play money); The players will throw the
dice, and whoever gets the highest number will be the one that rolls the dice first to move
around the board according to the throw of a pair of dice.
Speaker 3: In this game the banker has to sets 30 mins -1hour timer for the whole game and to know
the winner of the game quickly. Any player who lands on an unowned property they need first to
solve the given equation so they can buy that doesn't double the price but when they can't answer it
they have to pay double. while, if the player lands on a property owned by another player, he or she
has to pull out the x swap card and needs to substitute it in the given equation that the player landed
on, if the player can answer he or she doesn't have to pay for the rental, but if he or she doesn't
answer he has to pay the rental.

Speaker 1: But if the player doesn’t know how to solve the equation he or she can ask for help to
other players but he need to pay 500 amount of play money to the player that can help him or her
solve the equation.

Speaker 2 : The Treasure Card require the player landing on them to draw a card that may be
favorable or unfavorable, when the player gets a math problem he or she has to answer it, if he or she
can answer it he or she will receive 500 amount of play money from the bank but if the player can't
answer he or she just stay and wait for his next turn.

Speaker 3: If a player acquires a Mathopoly—that is, all of a particular group color of properties—
that player may purchase improvements for those properties; improvements add substantially to a
property’s rental fee. He or she can buy a tourist from the bank. A player needs to complete 4 tourists
in his/her Mathopoly (mathopoly consists of 2 properties so each property has 2 tourists).

Speaker 1: The first player that has completed within the allotted time with the 4 tourists in his or her
mathopoly he or she is the winner but when the timer stops and no one has completed 4 tourists
within the allotted time, the player with the most properties and play money is the winner. The player
that went bankrupt within the allotted time results in elimination from the game.

[SLIDE 4: Educational Benefits]

Speaker 2: Furthermore, studies have shown that incorporating gamification into

education enhances retention and engagement. Mathopoly provides a dynamic and
enjoyable platform for reinforcing mathematical concepts in a way that traditional
teaching methods often struggle to achieve.

[CONCLUSION]

Speaker 3: In conclusion, Mathopoly transcends the conventional boundaries of

educational games. It combines the thrill of strategic gameplay with the cognitive
benefits of mathematics, providing an experience that is both entertaining and
intellectually stimulating.

Speaker 1: We believe that Mathopoly has the potential to transform the way we
approach mathematics education. We humbly request your consideration and approval
of our game, confident that it will make a meaningful impact on the world of learning
through play.
