    Dear Parent/Carer

    Hazlehead Academy
    Aberdeen City Council

    In January 2020 Education Scotland published a letter on your child’s school.


    The letter set out a number of areas for improvement, which we agreed with
    the school and Aberdeen City Council. We published a further letter in January
    2022.

    As requested, Aberdeen City Council has now provided us with a report on the
    school’s progress. The progress report is available on the Hazlehead Academy
    Quality Improvement webpage (google.com).

    After reviewing the evidence, we are now confident Hazlehead Academy has
    the capacity to continue to improve and we will publish no further reports in
    relation to the 2020 Education Scotland inspection report.

    Officers from Aberdeen City Council will continue to work with the school to
    ensure progress continues.
