Write an assignment of 2000 words on the following question:

Title:

Think of a topic to explore sociologically. Outline the main steps in carrying out this study. Refer in
particular to the sampling, research design, fieldwork and analysis. Include sociological studies
related to methods/methodology in research design.

The essay should be between 1800-2000 words in length, excluding footnotes and references. It should
be typed using Calibri with a 1.5 line spacing. Appropriate use of in-text citations and references is
expected, where students are required to support their claims using reliable sources from published
books, journal articles and appropriate primary and secondary sources.
