Site A = RTN 950 + RTN 380 Prerequierements
RTN950 1. No ETH services are created on slave ports
2. Ethernet Interface between RT950/RTN380 need to be set to
2.5Gbit/s with Full Duplex
3. Encapsulation Type K-Band MW IF Interface need to be set to
“NULL“
4. Ethernet Interfaces configured as Layer 2

1. Configuration→Physical Link Aggregation

2. S-EPLA Master
3. New
4. PLA ID and PLA Type S-EPLA(use default ID for each S-
EPLA)
5. Scheduling Mode B; default values for Bandwidth High-
Priority Service Threshold
6. Main Board/Main Port(Port to RTN380, e.g. EM6D Port 3)
7. Available Slave Ports
8. Choose right Slave Ports according to deployment scenario

Standard Scenario

4. Delete default E-LAN Service
5. Ethernet Interfaces configured as Layer 2, default QoS policies
unbind at Member&Service Channels
1. Configuration Management→Physical Link Aggregation
2. S-EPLA Slave

4. PLA ID and PLA Type S-EPLA Slave
5. Choose right Member/Service Channels according to
deployment scenario

Standard Scenario
Member Channel 1-MUXF4-1(IF)=Eband IF
Service Channel 1-MUXF4-3/4 COMBO or GE(o)→RTN9XX
