Physiological stress response alarm

Local

Intensive care units contain an impressive array of medical devices to monitor or manipulate a patient's
physiological state. Each device provides visual and audible warnings to the health care providers when a
measured physiological variable goes out of range or the device detects a malfunction. The design of the
associated alarm algorithms has traditionally focused on analyzing individual physiological variables
“Alarm fatigue" has led to a proliferation of monitoring alarms, often exceeding hundreds of alarms per
patient per day, that are either technically false or clinically irrelevant. Health care providers respond to
this cacophony of low-specificity alarms with desensitization ("alarm fatigue"), which can result in
patient deaths.

This study proposed by Shu, L. et.al(2020, January 28) Long-term negative emotions have been linked in
studies to conditions like headaches, asthma, ulcers, and heart disease. Social issues have been on the rise
recently as a result of the lack of resources for psychological issues like depression and anxiety to be
diagnosed and treated. Techniques for emotion recognition can somewhat enhance human-computer
interaction and psychological therapy. Through the use of heart rate information from a wearable smart
bracelet, our work suggests a technique for emotional recognition.

The computerized contact tracing system known as Project X was invented in the Philippines. However
despite its implementation, Project X users still face difficulties with accessibility, registration, and
scanning. Additionally, it is annoying to fill out Health Declaration Forms repeatedly and for an extended
period of time. This will be redesigned in this study to become an inclusive digital contact tracking
system with a standardized method for identifying citizens’ contacts and health declarations. The study
will be important for Filipinos who use digital contact tracing, contact tracers, Local Government Units
(LGUs), government organizations, and upcoming researchers working in related sectors. They collected
data by doing Online Interviews and Surveys. There are Alternative solutions for these such as RFID,
Face ID, and Kiosk, and three design models were developed: RFID Card, RFID Keychain, and RFID
Bracelet.

Based on the study conducted by Ebardo (2017) One of the divisions of wearable technology is the
category of activity trackers. Although designed primarily for fitness, activity trackers have gradually
gained popularity among users in industries like education, medicine, and sports. Activity trackers in the
form of heart rate monitors have been used in riding. It was widely regarded as an efficient technique for
enhancing athletic performance by cyclists, coaches, and athletes. Cycling enthusiasts may now use tools
like GPS, interactive maps, and music thanks to the advent of smartphones routines for cycling. Since
they have the flexibility to switch bikes and synchronize data on a single platform, activity trackers give
riders more data and independence. Cycling enthusiasts can also keep an eye on their heart rates and the
quality of their sleep to determine how fit they are.
