TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF F.H

• Minimum Working Pressure=6.9 Bar

• Minimum Flow Rate=500 GPM
• Minimum Pipe Size=4”.
• Maximum Distance Between 2 F.H=100 m
• Maximum Distance From The Building Being Protected=25m.
• Hydrants Shall Be Located Not Less Than 40 Ft (12.2 M) From The
Buildings To Be Protected.

PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
• Portables fire extinguishers should be distributed to
cover a distance of 22 meter throughout the building.
• Available capacities of cylinders are:
1kg, 2kg, 6kg, 9kg, 12kg

5.2.4 The protection requirements shall be permitted to

fulfilled with fire extinguishers of higher rating, provided
the travel distance to such larger fire extinguishers does not
exceed 75 ft (22.7 m).
PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
CO2& DRY CHEMICAL POWDER
• The most common portable fire extinguishers are
co2& dry chemical powder, the co2 is placed near
electrical rooms, while chemical powder is distributed
to be within 22 meters away from any point from the
building.

ZONE CONTROL VALVE
FLOOR CONTROL VALVE functions
1.Isolating of each zone(floor or zone of open area) for maintenance purposes.

2.Check system pressure.

3.Drain the specific zone connected to it.

4.Actuate an alarm during fire occurrence.

5.Actuate an alarm if OS&Y gate valve is closed.

TEST ASSEMBLY (Test and Drain Valve)
Test position: to check whether the flow is
accurate or not.

Drain position: to drain the network when needed.

Inspection through the sight glass which make it

visible to check water quality.
