Advice:
 Crochet in the spiral rows, do not join at the end of the row with
slip stitches and do not turn the work unless the other is noted;
 Use the marker thread or another color yarn at the beginning of the
row, this will help you to indicate the first row of each new row;
Front side Wrong side

 For crocheting this toy, it is better to use the materials that are
indicated above. The yarn can be replaced with yarn of similar
composition or thickness;
 Stuff the toy not very tight – the density is medium.

Prepare the wire. Two small, 16 cm in length and one long - 46 cm, for
each arm. We fold in half each wire and insert inside the arm. Insert
the long wire inside the middle finger. Join all ends in one wire and
isolate using the adhesive tape.

Make the navel sculpting. Take a long needle

and green color yarn. Fold the yarn in double.
Find the navel location and pin it. Insert the
needle into the hole between the stitches
and leave a small tail outside. Withdraw the
needle to the navel place, capture one sc and
go back to the initial hole. Make sure the
navel is located straightly in the middle of
the belly. Pull on and tie a knot. Cut the tips
and hide the knot inside the body. The navel sculpting is ready!

16
SCULPTING+MUZZLE DECORATION
Use pins to mark the location of the nostrils and mouth. The nostrils
will be located between the 23rd and 24th rows, between the eyes, 3-4
loops apart from each other. These will be points 1 and 2. The points
for sculpting the mouth will be located between 11 and 12 rows, these
will be points 3 and 4. Between points 3 and 4 there are 21 loops.
We will do the sculpting with the same thread that knitted the head.

Insert the needle from the bottom into the hole in the head and leave
a small tip on the outside. Withdraw the needle at point 1 (between 23
and 24 rows), move one loop down and insert the needle. Next,
withdraw the needle at point 3 (between 11 and 12 rows), tighten the
thread slightly, also lower at the same point one loop down and insert
the needle. Withdraw the needle at point 1 and tighten the thread
slightly. Repeat the same manipulation 1-2 times. Next, withdraw the
needle at point 2 (between 23 and 24 rows), not at point 1.

17
At point 2, go down one loop and insert the needle. Next, withdraw the
needle at point 4 (between 11 and 12 rows), tighten the thread slightly,
also go down one loop at the same point and insert the needle.
Withdraw the needle at point 2 and tighten the thread slightly. Repeat
the same manipulation 1-2 times. Next, bring the needle out below into
the hole of the head, tighten the ends, tie them into a knot, cut the
thread, and hide the ends inside the head. The sculpting is ready.

Using the pistachio color yarn, we embroider the mouth and nostrils
for an alien. Embroider the nostrils at the place where we did the
sculpting.

18
Insert the wire from the body inside the head. Sew the head onto the
body.
