Palkhivala Foundation - Oratorical Competition 2024

Palkhivala Foundation is pleased to announce an Oratorical Competition. The competition is
open to current students at any College or University in India.

Topic: Digitalising Economy - Boon or Bane ?

Prizes:
- Winner Rs.15,000/-
- First runner-up Rs.10,000/-
- Second runner-up Rs. 7500/-
Time Limit: 5-7 minutes per participant
Date of the competition: Saturday, January 20, 2023 at 10.30 am

Registration: 2 Students per college/university.

Guidelines:
- Participation is individual. Only one entry per person.
- Participant must have done prior registration on the above-mentionedlink on or before the due dateand
attach valid student ID and bonafide letter from their respective institutions to the form.
- Participation is based on first-cum-first-serve basis.
- Participants shall be notified about the date, time, and venue of the competition via their selection e-
mail. Participants with confirmation mail from the Foundation can alone participate in the
competition.
- The competition will be conducted in English language only. Speaking aids shall not be permitted.
- Formal language and dress code must be adhered to.
- Exceeding the time limit attracts a deduction of 2 points from the overall score forevery 45 seconds.
- The competition will be conducted in Chennai. Hence, all participants must ensure they can travel to
Chennai and arrange their own accommodation.
- Jury's decision shall be final.
- Prize winners and participants shall receive participation certificates for the same.
