United Nations (UN). The WHO specializes in public health.
This includes physical and mental health of people all over
the world.

2. The World Health Organization began its work on April 7, 1948. Today,
the WHO has 7,000+ workers. This includes doctors, scientists, and
public health specialists from 150 nations. The WHO’s main offices are
in Geneva, Switzerland.

3. The WHO helps nations improve their health-care systems. It teaches


us about diseases such as AIDS and COVID-19. WHO specialists also do
important research for new vaccines.
