1.Who are the main characters in the movie.

The main Characters in the movie are Mr. Tuy (Feliciano Adamat), Mr. Atu (Pedro Untal), Mr
Kwak (Kwak Bunag), Mr. Kilado (Kilado Moili), and Mr. Topo (Topo Malbaran)

2. In what tribe do they belong to?

The brave men (main character) belongs to the Taduray tribe

3. What period do you think the story happened?

I think the story happened during the Japanese occupation which is between in the year
1941-1945 during world war 2.

B. INTERPRETIVE QUESTIONS
whatis the symbolism of the bird in the movie?
The svmbolism of the bird in the movie is about the disaster that is about to break in

5. In what event did the sign of the bird are exposed? Does it have significance in the plot of the
movie? Why?

The bird in the movie "The Blind Soldiers does have a significant plot in the movie, and
that is that it shows how the people trom that period know or predict what is about to
hannen.

C. EVALUATIVE QUESTIONS

6. How did the war affect the lives of the characters in the movie in terms of friendship and
family relationships; serving the country; and being educated?

The war did have a huge impact on their friendship because, as things went on, two of their
friends died, and they started to doubt their decision to take part in the war. And it did affect the
family relationship; why? Because the two of their friends died, both of their family members
mourned their deaths. It also made them realize that being educated is one of the most
important things in life, which led them to think that education and knowledge are the only things
that they can pass on to their children

7. Why was the movie entitled "The Blind Soldiers"?

I believe the reason why it is entitled "The Blind Soldiers" is because, despite their age, they
blindly and courageously conquer the challenge to protect their village and country, disregarding
the fact that there is a possibility of death and blindly walking
through the path of fighting for the
S. Do vou think education would have changed the experiences of the Blind Soldiers before and
during the war?
I think education would have changed the experiences of the blind soldiers before the war
because it became one of their struggles to understand the language that their
commander was speaking, but during the war, I don't think that it would have changed. Why?
Because only the will to fight and to survive the war is what they most likely think of.

9. In what way does education matter in terms of vour own life and vour own country?

As it shows in the movie, education is one of the most important weavons as we


conquer our own kind of war in our evervdav lives: thelns us know how to communicate
properly, be literate, and take us to a better path in life. As we finish our studies and become
professionals, it somehow helps the country improve in terms of business, politics, and
corporations, just like what Dr. Jose Rizal said, "kabataan and pag asa ng bayan," which only
means that educated or illiterate vouth can contribute and help improve the country
