WELFARE ORGANIZATION –ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

HR MANAGER

 Responsible for identifying new recruitments and arrangement of Interviews and selection of
Candidates with the respective Dept. Head.
 Responsible for Induction Training to new staff, Joining Letter confirmation, Collection of
documents as per New Staff Check List, Resignation and Termination of Services and Full and
final Settlement.
 Responsible for Accommodation, House Keeping, Canteen, Security etc are functioning as per
the requirements.
 Workmen Compensation, Insurance and Handling all the Claims
 Ensure Attendance of employees and prepare monthly payroll process with deductions of loans
etc and additions of overtime, bonus etc and provide to Accounts Apartment
 Monitor the activities of PRO and issuance of Visa, Travel etc of the employees
 Monitor the activities of the Security and Incident Investigation and disciplinary actions
 Performance Appraisal and recommend to General Manager
 Ensure the annual leave of the employees and substitute during absence of the employees
 Make travel and accommodation arrangement for new employees.
 Responsible for the Quality Policy deployment and Quality Objective in his/her area
 Coordinate with Sales and Operations team for smooth functioning
 Prepare Monthly Information System (MIS) Report and submit to General Manager

WELFARE OFFICER

 The welfare officers can offer help and guidance to anyone affected by personal, domestic or
work-related problems by gathering information about the issue.
 The welfare officer asks about the nature of the problem and what steps have already been
taken to resolve it. He or she suggests or explore options to help you progress the issue or
arrive at a resolution.
 Visit staff who are on sick leave & Other ailments.
 provide practical support following a bereavement
 in association with the Occupational Health Service organise exhibitions to promote healthy
lifestyles and awareness/screening programmes
 provide advice and support for addictions (gambling, alcoholism and drug dependence)
 provide advice on retirement – preparation for the transition
 signpost other areas of specialist advice, information and support

ACCOMODATION MANAGER
 To ensure all staff in Housekeeping with Labour Camp Policy regarding personal hygiene.
 To be aware of the day’s business both in Room Occupancy, Special Requirements & needs.
 Liaise with HR Manager and act on any information given.
 Issue keys, room lists, house assistant check lists and cleaning schedules to housekeeping staff at
the beginning of shift and collect and check them at end of shift.
 Check all work given to the Room Assistants,Maintenance throughout the day to ensure
standards are being adhered to.
 Regularly Inspect rooms, public areas, recreational area for cleanliness, appearance and also to
make sure these areas are kept as per the Labour Camp Standards.
 Ensure all Maintenance work in Bedrooms, Laundry and Public Areas are rectified.
 Ensuring that accommodation is clean well maintained and attractively presented.

 Maintain a par stock levels of stationary, linen and amenity requirements in order to ensure
consistency in standards.
 Knowledge of local and company hygiene, health and safety regulations
 Developing and utilising check lists for regular preventative maintenance.
 Developing and utilising check lists for regular cleaning and upkeep.
 Conduct meetings and training sessions as and when required.
 Interview, hire, train, and at times take disciplinary actions on staff members.
 To assist in the development and writing of Housekeeping departmental standards and
improved processes.
 To actively train all staff to the standards laid down in the Training Manual and monitor their
work performance.
 Minimise wastage of materials and energy through careful monitoring of staff.

NATIONALITY REPRESENTATIVE

 Nationality Representatives organize & coordinate with their respective workers regarding the
problems they are facing and put forward the same towards the Welfare & Accommodation
Officer to help bridge the Social & Language Barrier.
 They also help in conveying & advising the Workers from their Nationalities regarding the rules
& regulations and Suggested solutions.
