JOB VACANCY
Position: Security Inspector - Logistics
Location: Nairobi (Imara Daima)
Overall Purpose: The job holder will be responsible for Securing premises and
personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
Duties & Responsibilities
 Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
 Monitor property entrance.
 Authorize entrance of people and vehicles.
 Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings.
 Secure all exits, doors and windows.
 Monitor surveillance cameras.
 Promptly report any incidences that require immediate action to the appropriate
authority , Record all incidents in the occurrence book .
 Ensure Timely reporting of incidences or unusual happenings as well as facilitate to
ensure that swift solutions have been found and the issues resolved .
 Must be able to maintain a heightened state of alertness and be keen to detail .

Key Skills & Qualifications

 Degree, Diploma in Logistics and transport /Supply chain Management or its
equivalent.
 1-2 years of experience in a similar role .
 Understanding of the transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing
information accrued from point of origin to delivery .

 Familiarity with managing or facilitating the movement of goods from each stage of
creation to shipment.
 Good coordination and organizational abilities
 Basic math skills.
 Must have the ability to be a team player and also follow policies and procedures.
 Possess the ambition to excel and keep to the targets as set out by management from
time to time.
 Ability to Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.
 Have the passion that takes to enjoy coming to work and making good use of time
spent in the stores.
 Integrity, honesty and trust will be key.
 Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
 Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
