Appetizer are an assortment of delicacies,

served in small or bite sized portions, which
also include beverages taken before the meal
or main course of a meal to stimulate one’s
appetite.

So, an appetizer can be served before the meal

to increase your appetite, to ready your
stomach and your appetite to consume big
course of meal.

Did you already experience tasting appetizers

like in restaurants?

(other students)

Yes ma’am, I have one. I experienced eating

appetizer to a restaurant like French fries and a
smoothie

That’s very interesting! So what could be the

nutritional value that you will gain form the Ma’am, from what I know, French fries are full of
appetizer you eat? oils, so it is definitely fats, carbohydrates and etc.

Yes! Very good. You are correct!

Let me share to you class the nutritional value

of appetizers.
The nutritional value of appetizers can be
found in different ingredients used in a given
recipe. Most of the ingredients used in
preparing appetizers are food rich in
carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins and
minerals.
To further that. I present to you the different
classification of appetizers

First
Fruit appetizer
(the meaning is in the power point
presentation) Yes maam,
Can you read it to the class Mr. Bonot? (Fruit appetizer are light and refreshing fruits in
season which is served before a meal)

Thank you Mr. Bonot!

So fruit appetizers are the appetizers which

Do you have any questions class?

You can use our chat box for your queries
Or you can raise your hands or unmute your
mic.
Anyone?
Ma’am how can we say or how can we know what
type of classification of appetizer do we need to
serve to the customers before eating the main
course?
Okay yes, that’s a good question.
In choosing appetizer, the classification of
appetizer rather, it is depends on how could heavy
the main course you will eat or consume because if
you will choose heavy appetizer then you eat heavy
main course then your appetite will loosen.
Some say you will have “umay”. Anyway we will
tackle that in our next lesson class on how we will
pick or choose what could be the best appetizer for
different main course.

Okay next question? Thank you ma’am.

(another student raising hand)

Ma’am it is okay if we eat again appetizers after the

main course
Okay that’s a good question,
Appetizer is eaten before the meal. The purpose of
the appetizer is to increasen, stimulate your
appetite before the course meal so when you take
it or consume it after meal then the purpose will
lose its purpose. The purpose will disappear right?
The food that we eat the main course are called?
What do you think guys?
Ma’am it is called dessert

Yes, that’s correct.

Any other question class?

None ma’am.
