Professional Development Course for UAEMEX Faculties January, 2024
From 23rd to 31st January
Course length: 25 hours

Aims: To share with teachers tools and strategies, practices and tips, focused on the
development of productive and receptive skills using Cambridge materials.

The sessions will have the content presented below.

Topics to be delivered:

First session Monday, 23 January: Live remote sessions using Cambridge Materials
Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Mexico City time.

Second session Tuesday, 30 January: Development of Receptive Skills and

Development of Productive Skills Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Mexico City time.

Third session Wednesday, 31 January: Language Consolidation and Making the most
out of Cambridge Materials Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Mexico City time.

Each of these online sessions will last 3 consecutive hours.

These online sessions will be complemented with asynchronous individual work that
each teacher must complete and submit proof of no later than Friday, February 2,
2024. These assignments will be allotted in the first session and will complement the
topics addressed in the full course. Their delivery is mandatory to obtain the 25-hour
certificate that will be awarded.

Along this, the following courses need to be completed in Cambridge One: How to
teach with Cambridge One, How to teach with Practice Extra and the digital
Workbook, and How to teach with the Presentation Plus.

As proof of completion, submit the certificates generated in the platform when

you complete the course, to the following email:
