What is Brock MSDSonline?

Chemical products can be found almost anywhere on Brock University’s campus, and some of
these products may be hazardous to people and the environment. To ensure the well-being of
both, each product has its own Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) outlining safe handling,
disposal and emergency procedures. MSDSs for all hazardous products must be accessible for
everyone who may be exposed to them, including all faculty, staff and students at Brock
University.

Brock MSDSonline is a web-based system that allows online storage and management of
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for all commercial chemical products in use across the
Brock University campus.

What are the benefits of using Brock MSDSonline?

· Reduced cost and environmental impact through use of paperless MSDS “eBinders”
· Increased efficiency through simple online maintenance of eBinders
· Increased accessibility through centralized online MSDS databases
· Increased accuracy through automatic MSDS updates
