First of all let us praise to Allah almighty who bestows his merci to us so we can
be here an this precious moment.

Shalawat and salaam always devoted to our greet propet Muhammad SAW. That
have brought us from darknesss to the lightness as it is today.

Befor I deliver my speech let me gratitude to Mr. …...... who has allowed me to
stand here and talk about education.

Ladies aand gentlemen..

As we know education plays an important role for the progress of a nation , if the
eduation of the people is left behind. Than the population will experience
difficulties in adapting and facing preasure for the globalization era.

Our well know as afather of Indonesia education Ki Hajar Dewantara, has some
jargons which are famous and use us of ikon of education in Indonesia. They are:

Ing ngarso sung tulodo

it means giving a model in front

Ing madyo mangun karso

It means giving spirit in the middle
Tut wuri handayani
It means giving support in he back

He had given a strong statement about how education to be role and how we us
he itizen especially the children mut have education since young.

In approaching time, our government did so many change and development in

education field.
The government holds many program to increase the education in Indonesia, one
of them is by alloctting alarge amounts of funds, so the dropout rate can be
reduced and more students can get their right to have education.

More over, our curyculum also has progress, now we are in kurikulum merdeka
stages, where all the program has purpose to increase our knowledge and life
skilss.

My beloved audience..

Actually, duction is not only be btainet at school, but we can use technology to
acsess the education, take advantage of n online platform that can be acsessed
for free o get free knowledge from farious parts of the word, we can compete
with the people abroad.

Developed countries all also very concerned about quality the education of their
people, so it is not surprising that the quality of campusabroad is good enough,
even many Indinesians decide to gain knowledge out there, thus we must learn
to be able to catch up. Were’s we had not the opportunity to globalize the
education

Who have today I would deiliver in the importance of education in my short speech .On many
occasions we hear the term education.But what is education ?How importance is education to
our country and our selves as students?

Ladies and gentlemen

To answer the first question ,education refers to process by which a person develops their skills,
attitudes, and values. Sometimes we associate this term with the school ,how ever we must
also take into account that education is’n exclusive to this institution , but also it is up to the
family and even to the friendships with whom we live together day by day,that is why we can
say that “I can get to improve each other” there is a phrase that I like found of and I find it for
real. If the society care about the education ,it shows that they love their nation. For the pros
pirety of a country it needs education, but why?

The honorable audience,we study not only to for the graduation ceremony and hang our
picture on the will, in our house .or just to show off to our friends. We study to practice and to
ecquire knowladge ,and those two then will prepare us to the real life situation.

Education brings us a lots of benefits , such us confidence in ourselves, freedom to decide,

conscience as a whole , help us to improve ourselves ,to feel fulfilled,to feel that we are
valuable and that we have an end for which to live. But this is not the only satisfaction that
education gives us, but we can achieve a better quality of life; when we want to buy
dress,shoes,foods or anything else we need a work , which is not easy to find and less if we
don’t have an adequate education.
Ladies and gentlemen

It is said that the future of our country is in the hands of the children and as the children in this
country, we must try hard to achieve that. That is why today I invite all the audiences here to
reflect on the importance of education. We have to take advantage of this chance to be able to
go to school for study. We must appreciate our parents effort to send us to school,and think
that there are many children we would like to study but for some reason they can’t.

Ladies and gentlemen

Finally,ask ourselves;without effort and education. How do we improve ourselves?how do we

live better?in short how do we have a properious country? Therefore,education is an importan
part of our life as well as an essential part to develops a better future for the country. So this is
the end of my speech today. I hope some of point can give a new vision.To about getting
education and encourage us to more diligent for the future of our country’s and our own.
