Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

First of all, lets thanks God the Almighty who has been giving us His mercy and blessings until we
can attend this meeting without any obstacle in this happy place and time.

Secondly, May Salawat and Salam be with our Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, who has
guided us from the darkness to the enlightenment in the world as well as in the next world.

Thirdly, Ill never forget to thank Mr. Chairman who has given me opportunity to deliver a speech in
front of the public.

Standing in front of you all, I would like to present my speech under the title of: islamic education and
nasionalism

Our great prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said,

The acquisition of knowledge is a duty incumbent on every Moslem, male and female.

According to the above hadith, we are obliged to seek knowledge and science. Because science is
very important to our life. With science, we can conquer all countries in the world, such as,
malaysia,singapura,cina and so on. We can be the leader in the word, we can conquer the other
countries when we are masstering knowledge and modern technology .we also apply religius
education until we are able to increase nation grade in the future

Reason is the capital to look for science, the othercreatures like animals, plants and things have no
reason, therefore they are unable to look for science. Accordingly if we dont utilize or capital of
reason to look for science as much as possible. It is very pity.

If we have no science, we are just the same as the other creatures and be a foolish nation. But if we
have much science we will be the best nation in the world.

It is impossible for us to get science without doing anything. To get the science, we must study hard
wherever and whenever we are.

The meaning is Seek knowledge even to the China.

If it is necessary please study abroad like in china or the other foreign countries. And there is no
limitation of time to study. Our prophet has said also,

The meaning is Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave.

Science is not only why people getting succes. Both, we must have a science. We also we must
have a faith. Because God raise you who beleive and those who were given science degree. Of
course both we study hard we must applying religion education

The honorable, my teacher, and my beloved friends, good morning. First of all, thank you for
having me here in this fine and joyfull morning. I hope we are all in the good health. Today I
would convey in the importance of education in my short speech. On many occasions we hear
the term education, but what is education? How importance is education to our country and
ourselves as students?

Well, to answer the first question, education refers to a process by which a person develops their
skills, attitudes and values. Many times we associate this term with the school, however we must
also take into account that education is not exclusive to this institution, but also it is up to the
family and even to the friendships with whom we live together day by day, that is why we can
say that “men can get to improve each other.” There is a phrase that I like very much and I find it
very true. If the people of a country care about the education, it shows that they love their nation.
It is said that in order for a country to prosper it needs education, but why?

The honorable audiences, we study not to go to the graduation ceremony and hang our picture on
the wall of our house, much less to show off to our friends. we study to practice and to acquire
knowledge, and those two then will prepare us to the real life situation. Education brings us too
many benefits, such as confidence in ourselves, freedom to decide, conscience as a whole, help
us to improve ourselves, to feel fulfilled, to feel that we are something in life and that we have an
end for which to live. But this is not the only satisfaction that education gives us, but with it we
achieve a better quality of life; When we want to buy a dress, shoes, food, or anything else, we
need a work, which currently is not so easy to find and less if we don’t have an adequate
education.
It is said that the future of our country is in the hands of the children and as the children in this
country, we must try hard to achieve that. That is why today I invite all the audiences here to
reflect on the importance of education. We have to take advantage of this chance to be able to go
to school to study. We must appreciate the effort that our parents make to send us to school, and
think that there are many children who would like to study but for some reason they can not do
it.

Finally, ask ourselves: without effort and education, how do we want to improve ourselves? How
do we want to live better? In short, how do we want a better country?. Therefore, education is an
important part of our life as well as an essential part to develop a better future for the country. So
this is the end of my speech today. I hope some of the points that I have conveyed today make us
more appreciate of our chance to be able to have the education at school and make us study more
dilligently for both our country’s and our own future. I thank you for the attention. Good day.

Good afternoon!

Instead of delivering my brief introduction and what am I running for, this podium remind me of
something goofy when I first entered this school. For your information I was a transferred
student from other cities thus I faced a difficulty in familiarizing myself with the school which
belongs to this city. Concisely, I was entering this school with zero preparation. I did not know
that this school is very strict with time, zero tolerance for lateness. I came to school late so the
disciplinary teacher had to give me punishment, on my very first day in this school. I was told to
stand while saluting the flag pole under the sun heat. It seems like I absorbed sunlight too much
that I cannot even think straight, I tripped in the middle of this field, right in front of the podium.
It was so embarrassing that I could not even lift my face but suddenly an angel came to save me.
She was my very first friend that I got, she helped me to stand, walked me to my class, and even
told me about the regulations applied here so I can be more careful. In that very moment, I fall in
love with this school because it has a consistent principle to educate the students to be a good
and discipline person. It does not take a long time for me to love this school because the people
here are very warm.
Now here it comes my introduction my name is Keiko, a sophomore from Science 3 class and I
am running for President of Student Council Election in Montgomery High School. During the
past years, I have been preparing myself for this position by actively participated in some
extracurricular projects, joined social activities hosted by our school, and identifying the skills
that are required when someone is running for this position. One of the reasons why I run for this
position is because I have vowed myself to give meaningful contribution towards this school. I
want to protect the student’s right and be a good bridge between the school’s administration and
the students, my friends.

As the new President Student Council in Montgomery High School I will eliminate tasks and
homework, just kidding. I will make my speech brief and concise so I will deliver my vision and
mission right away. My vision is to achieve the mutual objective to make Montgomery High
School as a school which has high quality, active, innovative, and discipline. Meanwhile the very
first mission that will be conducted is to scout students that fit to be placed in Student Council
Body. Together with the other Student Council members, I will encourage the students to be
outstanding in academic or non-academic field. I want to grow togetherness and the sense of
belonging to our school even bigger than before by organizing possible events. Encourage the
students to be active in extracurricular activities in order to improve the student’s skill and
creativity. Most essentially, I will carry out this responsibility with heart, accountability, and
honesty.

I would really appreciate it if you voted me to be the next Student Council President in
Montgomery High School for one academic year. If I get elected, I will re-evaluate the previous
Student Council Board’s programs and learn from them. I will continue to be a good student’s
representative and continue to strive for things that are essential for students. Let us work
together towards the destined goals. Thank you very much for your kind attention and see you on
the ballot day!

Pentingnya pendidikan

First of all, lets pray and thank unto our god Allah who has been giving us some mercies and
blessings so we can attend and gather in this place in good condition and happy situation.

Science has an important role in this journey of life. With someone would be steadier in the
exercise of worship to God Almighty, know the actual purpose and essence. However, in
contrast to someone who is blind would be the science of religion, then everything you do will
not know the basics and real purpose. It is not to impinge on the Muslims and we should realize
every Muslim has a duty to study.

Seek the knowledge and you must get priority on every Muslim. People learned and then know
the road that will be traveled. People crave a happy life in the world and it must have knowledge.
People who crave happiness the world hereafter shall have science anyway. Therefore be not to
feel tired to study, and anywhere we have to keep looking though the country of China, as a
similar.

Many ways is carried out to look for knowledge. Some seek knowledge by listening to Religious
and some are looking for science through reading books. Also some seek knowledge through
schools, and many more seek trough science resource. But keep in mind that it is known and
seeking the most dominant is to start children of school age. Because with a great opportunity,
the children of early age still have a strong catching power. The science is really as capital
material on the life of the days to come. Science has accepted the children start early with a
serious manner. It will be marked and remembered constantly. So the importance of the study
started early, meaning they can really reach a golden opportunity. As with science, then it could
support the full of life now and tomorrow and in the next future.

Once we find the science seriously, do not forget to practice. The learned are obligated to
practice the science not hidden. When someone has a science and then hidden, then the threat
will be received. So the short blurb that we pass, with hopeful we have servants including
religious studies. We want to apply in everyday life so happy world of the afterlife.

Before I deliver my speech I hope all audiences to thank our God Allah SWT for He has
bestowed us abundant mercies, so, due to these we are able to attend this peaceful meeting.

Dear Moslem brothers!

When we talk about youngsters, we often find in many articles and we ourselves even witness
the great role of youth participation in developing, favoring, and supporting the development of
nation. They are the hope of nation who will carry out the struggle for the sake of brighter future
of the country. Similarly, they are at the same time, the hope of Islamic religion will strive for
the sake of Islamic teaching in the next, maintain the Islamic law, who will safeguard the
Moslem young generation at large from influence of destructive western style of life, who will be
leaders for the next. It was yelled as: TODAY IS YOUNG TOMORROW WILL BE A
LEADER.

This statement encourages us to pay attention to the young existence in the future. By knowing
all the facts we realize, how important role the young have for the future. The youths supposedly
symbolize the force never become weak quickly. For this reason, the former president of
Indonesia Soekarno has once said: “GIVE ME TEN YOUTHS WOULD SHAKE THE
WORLD”. From this statement we can sum up that Soekarno appreciated the young people more
than the old. Why? Because they play significant roles, have great potency and great energy that
can be prided.

Dear Moslem brothers!

Therefore our religion enjoins us to be flexible Moslem leaders for society who ultimately have
to devote them selves for the development of Moslems community at large. Ironically, in this
sophisticated era we witness the conducts of young people are always against the Islamic laws.
We pay attention to many young people who are not a ware of their education and will be sadder
if we see our Moslem brothers in our country behave badly and intentionally avoiding Islamic
teachings to follow western culture. We can not imagine and describe what is going to happen in
the next time if all the young people are careless in this responsibility. We have to be aware that
the responsibility of nation developing and religion establishing depend on us. By those
considerations we should be very cautious with any destructive western culture that would enter
Islamic teaching.

My brothers! Las but not the last, I should like to cal you to prepare our generation in order to
be able to replace the old in the future. And I hope you and all Moslem brothers wherever they
are to abstain from bad action and furthermore we have to develop our skill and potency to reach
the bright future.
