(b) The tax (under GST) paid by the dealer to the State Government.
(c) The amount of tax (under GST) received by the Central Government.
iii) In the figure given below, O is the centre of the circle and SP is a tangent. If ∠SRT = 65°,
find the value of x, y and z.

iii) A person standing on the bank of a river observes that the angle subtended by a tree

ii) The first term of an A.P. is 5, the last term is 45 and the sum is 400. Find the number of
terms and the common difference.
iii) Amit Kumar invests Rs. 36000 in buying Rs. 100 shares at Rs. 20 premium. The
dividend is 15% per annum. Find:
(a) The number of shares he buys
(b) His yearly dividend
(c) The percentage return on his investment.

ii) A car covers a distance of 400 km at a certain speed. Had the speed been 12 km/h
more, the time taken for the journey would have been 1 hour 40 minutes less. Find the
original speed of the car.
iii) Construct a triangle ABC in which base BC = 6 cm, AB = 5.5 cm and ∠ABC = 120°.
(i) Construct a circle circumscribing the triangle ABC.
(ii) Draw a cyclic quadrilateral ABCD so that D is equidistant from B and C.

i) Using the Remainder Theorem factorise completely the following polynomial:

ii) Two coins are tossed once. Find the probability of getting:
(a) 2 heads
(b) at least 1 tail.

iii) Using graph paper and taking 1 cm = 1 unit along both x-axis and y-axis.

(ii) Reflect A and B in the origin to get the images A’ and B’ respectively.
