Vinyl Cutter

For the vinyl cutter I made a sticker of my favorite rapper's logo/name. In my opinion, the hardest thing
about this project was when I had to transport the file from Inkscape to Graphtec. It was hard because I
wasn’t able to find the same file, I had saved on Inkscape, to show up on Graphtec. In the end, my friend
helped me find it. The most enjoyable thing about this project was watching the Vinyl be cut on the
machine and using tools to take off the excess on the stickers. That was the most satisfying part of the
project, and I am happy with how the sticker turned out.
Laser

For the laser project, I made the logo of my favorite NBA team, the Phoenix Suns. I made the logo on a
slab of plexiglass. The hardest part of this project was setting up the laser to be in line with the start
point and finish. I had to make sure that when I “framed” the plastic, that the laser wouldn’t hang off
the edge. The most fun and satisfying part was when the laser was burning the design on to the plexi
glass. In the ending, I think that either the laser was to close to the plastic or the heat was really high
because with the final product, the plexi glass had a lot of nasty residue left due to heat burns.
