Plato and st.

augustine

compare
They are both believe in the dichotomy they also believe that soul is the most divine aspect
of the self or the soul is the most intellectual part or aspect of a human person.

Contrast
plato believe that the world right now is not the real world but rather this is the replica of
the real world and for him the real world is the world of forms and it only exist in the realm
of ideas. It’s not something that we can see or touch but rather beyond our consciousness
or it’s beyond in our awareness.
St. Augustine think that this world is a material world and he think that there’s another type
of world and that world is where we would like to live because that is the world where god is
that is the ideal world and we should strive to be reunited with god so that we can live in
that world for him the real world is the one where god is. It is Similar to plato perspective
but you can access to this world by the use or help of the religion.

the proof that there is self naniniwala sya na may roong dalawang distinct entities cognito
and extenza sa cognito ang nakapaloob dito ay the thing that thinksor minds sa extenza
naman ay the extension or body parehas sila ni john locke in terms of using mind or there
topic is all about mind si locke namanay naniniwala na kapag ipinanganak ka sa mundo ay
para kang isang blank slate or parang isang blankong notebook malalagyan mo lang ito ng
laman sa pamamagitan ng experience habang ikaw ay lumalaki
