11. Raise MAST column sections.

✓ Inspect the MAST and fill the daily maintenance checklist.

✓ Check that the winch wire hooks are hanging free, disconnected from load rings and are at the
ground level that will give enough slack for a full column section erection.

Note: Hang some weight on the man rider winch hook to avoid triggering slack limit switch
on the horse head.

✓ Check that all aluminum protection bars are vertical or removed.

✓ Ensure the MAST obstruction light is raised and working properly.
✓ Ensure that electric cable for the horsehead is connected, hanging free and is fed up when the MAST
is extending.
✓ Retract all bolts on MAST mechanical end stopper.
✓ Make sure that winch hook emergency stop is working and there is no visual damage.
✓ Walk all the hydraulic lines and check all the hydraulic fittings to confirm no leaks prior to proceeding.
✓ Verify that the hydraulic cylinder is positioned all the way down and sections are locked.
✓ Make sure that Installation Mode is Unlocked on operator control panel to take the cylinder up to the
first segment intend to lift.
✓ Operate the Locking Bolt lever on the control panel and make sure that section bolts are Locked
(inserted).
✓ Operate the Lifting Bolt lever on the control panel and make sure the bolts are Disengaged (retracted)
on the MAST cylinder.
✓ Operate the Lifting Cylinder lever on the control panel and move cylinder UP until lifting and locking
bolts are aligned with holes of the section number 7 (red). This visually to be confirmed by the
watchman on the MAST platform.
✓ Engage Lifting Bolts on the cylinder.

✓ Unlock Locking Bolts on MAST section.
✓ Raise the first column (section 7 - red) using the “lifting cylinder lever” UP mode until it reaches its
end stop, watch the hydraulic hose reel rotate as the column is erected, it will give a visual aid when it
stops turning that the column has reached its limit. The load sense pressure will also increase, and
audible verification can be heard from the MAST column.

Note: Be aware for any clashes with the tugger weights/hooks and the MAST
frame/structure as the column is erected. Watch the electrical cable going to the Heli light
for snagging.

✓ Lock Locking Bolts once the cylinder is fully extended and section reached upper position. Section
Locking Bolts will go out and enter dedicated resting holes.
✓ Move Cylinder Down slowly. Section will land on resting surface of another section. Section bolts will
be engaged with shaped holes. When moving further down, cylinder Lifting Bolts will leave section
flange through channels.
✓ Disengage Lifting Bolts before cylinder reaches the next section (section 6 - orange) flange.

Note: Do not operate Locking bolts. If this cylinder is operated while the main cylinder is moving
down, it will not enter the next segment. If uncertain, pull the valve for Lock Locking bolt. This will pull
the Lift securing bolt in and extend the fork to pick the next Locking bolt.

✓ Repeat previous steps until all the MAST columns have been erected or until the number of columns
erected to meet the required height for the intervention equipment.

Note: Before picking and lifting the next section lower all the winches down to give enough slack for a
full column section erection.

Note: If a winch hook trips the horsehead end stop switch, the lifting cylinder will stop. Press reset
bottom on panel on MAST platform to be able to move winches down before being able to raise the
sections.

Note: Ensure the handling arm does not crash with the upper platforms when the section 2 is
elevated.

Note: Not all MAST sections have to be erected, but the section 2 must be taken up as high as
possible to get the best working window for Lubricator Handling Arm.
Note: Section-2 has a long sliding rail, where height might be set at every 250 mm. The rest of the
sections have only two positions, fully-up or fully-down.

✓ Lower MAST cylinder all the way down to retracted position once the last section is extended. This
will ensure the locking bolts are fully engaged and prevents unintended unlocking of these during
operation.
✓ Make sure that Installation Mode is Locked on the control panel once all the telescopic sections are
extended.
✓ Install gas detectors and related accessories.

Note: The MAST is a RED Zone whenever the lift cylinder is being operated and should not be accessed
during this time, if access is required all lift cylinder operations MUST cease. Be aware for any clashes with
the tugger weights/ hooks and the MAST frame/structure as the column is erected. Watch the electrical cable
going to the Heli light for snagging.

Note: The MAST can be used at any desired height and does not need to be raised to the full 90 ft if it is not
required. BP operation/well specific procedures should be referred to.

Note: With weather forecast above 36m/s the MAST sections shall be fully retracted.

Note: Work at height harness/fall arrestor to be worn and tool restraints required when working on upper
platform.

✓ Assemble WHE/lubricator stack above QTS horizontally with Stuffing box/Turnaround
sheave (TAS) being as near to MAST main winch hook as possible to decrease the lifting
distance.
✓ Function check and connect Hydraulic Control hoses to Stuffing Box and Tool catcher.
✓ Slide assembled SLK/Wireline downhole tool string into the tool catcher.
✓ Connect the lubricator dolly to the bottom of the lowermost lubricator.
✓ Clamp the slickline with the wire clamp.
✓ Attach lower sheave wheel to the bottom part of WIB using strong enough slings/shackles.
✓ Install the lubricator bowl on the lowermost lubricator. There are two types of lubricator
bowls.

Note: Put oil on the wire at the distance between unit and stuffing box especially if stuffing box packings are new. This helps
to reduce the friction at the stuffing box packings for the first few meters of RIH. Continue putting oil on the wire afterwards
from the spooling device during RIH.

Note: Make sure that the lower sheave wheel is aligned with the Turnaround Sheave to avoid/minimize slikline/wireline
rubbing against tulip/line wiper.

Note: Make sure lower sheave wheel has necessary accessories such as finger guard, rig-up yoke, line retainer, floor stand
etc.

15. Make up WHE above QTS.

✓ Install the lubricator lifting bridle.

✓ Install upper part of QTS via the MAST Main Winch.
✓ Lift the WHE above QTS either from the lubricator lifting bridle or TAS. With sufficient “slack” wire
pulled from the unit, commence lifting the lubricator slowly by MAST Main Winch ensuring that stuffing
box pulley does not get entangled with lifting slings.

Note: Consider attaching a guide rope to the bottom of the lubricator to control any potential lateral
swing. Lift the lubricator to vertical and suspend approx. 1.5 m above the deck close to the bottom of
lower sheave wheel.

Note: Ensure all lifting equipment is certified and all shackle pins have a secondary securing
mechanism.

✓ Insert the slickline/wireline into the lower sheave wheel. This step should be done by two people, one
to hold the wire in the lower sheave wheel groove and the other person ensuring the lower sheave
wheel is closed fully into the guard mounting, confirming the lock pin is fully home and the safety pin is
in place.
✓ At this point the Slickline/Wireline unit should be running with a member of the crew operating the
winch control and another member of the crew pulling on the wire to apply a little tension whilst the
winch drum slowly turns to spool the slacked wire.
✓ As the wire is spooled into the winch, the first indication of taking up the weight of the tool string will be
the movement at the lower sheave wheel, which will be closely followed by the downwards movement
of the slikline clamp. The winch operator must perform this task with extreme caution.
✓ Apply brake on the winch as soon as the weight of the tool string inside the lubricators is fully taken up
by the SLK/Wireline unit.
✓ Remove the clamp by pushing down on the top of the clamp with fingers from either side of the wire.
When the wire is freed, the clamp should be taken off the lubricator.
✓ Release the tool catcher. Make sure you the cable is under tension and BHA will not move down
suddenly once tool catcher is released.
✓ Remove the break and take control of the wire from the SLK/Wireline unit. Ensure wire is not slacked
off.
✓ Remove the lubricator dolly once you are 100% sure that the tool string is fully held by the unit winch.

Note: Make sure MAST run specific lifting plan is in place and well understood. SWL of MAST winches must be respected.

✓ Move the tool string down until it reaches workable height from the skid deck level.
✓ Connect downhole tools vertically from the skid deck manually as per the pre-job planning.

Note: Make a proper pre-job planning to know what downhole tools to make-up vertically at skid deck
level and what downhole tools to make-up at QTS level from uppermost MAST platform. Make sure
the downhole tools that will be made-up at QTS level is shorter that the distance between QTS and
WIB Swab Valve to avoid tagging bottommost downhole tool.

Note: Longer tools should be connected from the MAST platforms.

✓ Pick-up slickline/Wireline tool string up until its bottom barely seen at the bottom of the lowermost
lubricator. Make sure the length of lubricators allows to accommodate downhole tools.
✓ Move the lubricator stack sideways with the help of MAST LHA.

Note: The Lubricator Handling Arm (LHA) is manually operated from the hydraulic control panel.
Lubricator stack is suspended from the main winch and guided sideways by Handling Arm. The LHA is
designed to be able to support the lubricator stack with maximum 5-ton vertical load in static mode
with the use of gearbox brakes.

✓ Lift the remaining part of the Wireline tools and make up on top of the QTS via the MAST tool winch.
✓ Move the lubricator stack sideways with the help of MAST LHA until it is aligned with the QTS.
✓ Move the upper part of the downhole tool string with the unit winch and connect with the lower part of
the downhole tool string at the level of QTS.
✓ Lower down the lubricator stack and connect with QTS via the MAST main winch. While lowering the
lubricator make sure that the lubricator bowl is seated on LHA to avoid sideway movements.

Note: MAST main winch and LHA will have to be moved together, which should be done by the most
experienced MAST operator amongst the crew.

✓ Make sure that the tool catcher is in catch position and then pull the tool string into the tool catcher.
✓ Power down MAST HPU, lock and restrict access to all the MAST control panels.

Note: Guide rope should be attached to bottom of the lubricator stack while picking up to control any lateral swing. Tool
catcher must be in catch position just in case rope socket will hang up in it.
Note: Work at height harness/fall arrestor to be worn and tool restraints required when working on upper platform.

Note: Mind the tripping hazards related to MAST hatch adapter and hydraulic hoses.

✓ Clamp the slickline on lubricator with the wire clamp.
✓ Connect the lubricator dolly to the bottom of the lowermost lubricator.
✓ Lower and lay down the lubricator stack via the MAST main winch while slacking off the
slickline/wireline from Unit winch to avoid tension built-up on slickline/wireline.
✓ Release the tool catcher.
✓ Cut the slickline/wireline and break the lubricator stack/BHA horizontally on the skid deck.

Note: Work at height harness/fall arrestor to be worn and tool restraints required when working on upper platform.

Note: Mind the tripping hazards related to MAST hatch adapter and hydraulic hoses.

21. Lower MAST column sections.

✓ Make sure the emergency stop is working in the correct way, no visual damages.
✓ Operate the Locking Bolt lever on the control panel and make sure that section bolts are Locked
(inserted).

✓ Operate the Lifting Bolt lever on the control panel and make sure the bolts are Engaged (extended) on
the MAST cylinder.
✓ Raise the lifting cylinder using the control panel “lifting cylinder lever” to UP until it reaches the end
stop, the hydraulic reel can be used as a visual aid to confirm this. The load sense pressure will also
increase, and audible verification can be heard from the MAST column.

Note: Lifting Bolts will enter MAST section bottom flange channels and will lift encountered MAST
section up about 5mm. Section Locking Bolts will be moved up inside the shaped holes.

✓ Unlock Locking Bolts on a MAST section. At this moment, MAST sections are resting on cylinder
Lifting Bolts.
✓ Lower the last erected MAST column by moving the “cylinder lift lever” to DOWN until lifting and
locking bolts are aligned with fixed section (section 1 - pink).

Note: Pick-up all the MAST winch hooks so that they do not touch MAST frame while lowering each
column section.
Note: Alignment must be visually confirmed on the lower right-hand side of the MAST.
Note: Ensure the handling arm does not crash with the upper platforms when the MAST section 2 is
lowered.
Note: Ensure the cable for the horsehead does not snag while sections are going down.
No

✓ Lock Locking Bolts. Section Locking Bolts will go out and enter dedicated service holes. Section is
retracted.
✓ Disengage Lifting Bolts. Otherwise Lifting Bolts will retract, and cylinder may go up again while lifting
the cylinder.
✓ Engage Lifting Bolts before reaching the next section bottom flange.
✓ Repeat the above steps until the last column is ready to be lowered.
✓ Lower MAST cylinder all the way down to retracted position when last section is drawn in. This will
ensure the locking bolts are fully engaged and prevents unintended unlocking of these during lifting
and transportation.
✓ Lower down all 3 winch hooks and fix to the load rings for the transportation.
✓ Make sure that the Installation Mode is Locked on the control panel when telescopic MAST lowering is
finished.
✓ Install all 3 aluminum protection bars back for the transportation.
✓ Remove gas detectors and related accessories.
✓ Turn the obstruction light to transportation position.

Note: While disconnecting Section 2 from main column to lower it down, be careful to not overload
Locking Bolts inside shaped holes during initial releasing. This specific action needs operator
attention.

Note: If a winch hook trips the horsehead end stop switch, the lifting cylinder will stop. The winch wire
will need to be run out to be able to move the cylinder further up/down.

Note: Obstruction Light shall be folded down before any handling operation.

Note: If for some reason the MAST cylinder fails, there is a possibility to lower the MAST sections via
the platform crane using emergency lowering kit. In a such case, contact Dwellop for advice and
detailed instructions for MAST emergency lowering operation.

Note: The MAST is a RED Zone whenever the lift cylinder is being operated and should not be accessed during this time,
if access is required all lift cylinder operations MUST cease.

Note: Be aware for any clashes with the tugger weights/hooks and the MAST frame/structure as the column is lowered.
Watch the electrical cable going to the Heli light for snagging.
