What We Give Makes A Difference

Notice the difference in how Abel’s gift was described. Abel’s gift was the “best portions” of the
“firstborn” lambs. On the other hand, Cain presented “some” of his crops. For example, there’s someone
who gives u a gift but it didn’t comes from the heart its like an obligatory gift.
And as for God, He doesn’t need anything from us. All
he need, is for us to worship, honor and love Him with all our heart and soul. As Mark Chapter 12 verse
30 stated that, Love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Don’t Envy Others

The next lesson Cain and Abel taught us is don’t envy others. Although Abel had nothing to do with
Cain’s gift and God’s rejection of it, Cain got angry and killed him. Cain’s envious reaction towards Abel
seems to be human nature. Tayo po kasing mga tao, we tend to envy people na hindi natin nakikita or
kahirapan. May na promote tayo na kasamahan natin sa trabaho, instead na iniisip natin na its because
of their hard work, iniisip natin na “eh kasi close sila ng may ari kaya sya na promote ganito ganyan” and
that because naiingit ka sa kanya. Envying Others Leads Us To Do The Wrong Things. So we must be
careful when we start to become envious of others.

There Is A Right Way To Do Things

When God told Cain that he will be accepted if he did what was right (Genesis 4:7), it teaches us that
there are a right way to do things.
So hindi tayo magagalit agad or mag desisyon ng padalos-dalos dahil galit tayo
maachieve.
There Are Consequences To Our Actions
After Cain killed Abel, God punished him. God’s response to Cain killing Abel reminds us of a lesson na
alam natin but often need a reminder of. he lesson is that there are consequences to our actions. Sa case
nila Cain at Abel, makikita natin agad yong consequence but in life, hindi agad natin nakikita na hanggang
sa akala natin wala na yung kapalit. For example, kumain tayo ng unhealthy foods.
Aabotin pa yan ng ilang buwan or taon. Mahibong
