i) In a quiz, Wei Wei gets x marks while Kavitha gets 5 marks less than Wei Wei. Their total

ii) A bag of flour is x kg and a bag of sugar is y kg. The total of 3 bags of flour and 5 bags of sugar
is 650 kg.

iii) Noraini is x cm tall while Jerry is 12 cm taller than Noraini. Their total height is
324 cm.

booth is twice the number of cars. There are 270 more cars than trucks that pass the toll booth.
Motorcycles are not charged. Trucks pay 20sen more than the cars and 50sen is charged for cars.
