Greetings of Peace, Love and Mabuhay!

A school is an institution designed to provide learning spaces and learning environments for the
teaching of learners under the direction of teachers. It is not only a venue for cognitive development, it is
also a place to develop the social, emotional, moral and physical aspects of a child.

Physical activity is one of the means to develop a learner holistically. Engaging pupils in sports does not
only promote health and wellbeing, it also builds confidence and can maintain men
tal health. That is why the school initiated Project DACPES (Developing Athletes through Consistent
Physical Exercises in School). The project aims to develop sports facilities that the learners can use to
develop or improve their skills is different sports.

The first facility that school is currently developing is the basketball court. The Phase 1 or the
construction of the 100 x 50 concrete court is already completed. However, the court is still in need of 2
sets of poles, boards and rings to complete the basketball court. Moreover, basketball equipment such as
balls are also essential needs for this project.

Knowing that you have a big heart for the good and welfare of these children and in behalf of the 137
pupils, 9 teaching and non-teaching staff and 128 parents, we are knocking at your golden heart to help us
in the realization of this project.

Your immediate and positive response upon our request speaks of your enthusiasm in helping us make a
big difference at Salbang Elementary School.
