little pause . who have come all the way to prepare for various competitive
exams . they are very passionate about cracking these most coveted exams .

(Prof.greets them back, welcomes them & allows them to be seated).

Prof. : Hello..Pleased to meet u . kya nam hai tumhara . jagat.. Sir

jagat ..prof.. Kahan se ho naam batao . jagat.. Jagat.. Prof wah kya bat nam
bhi jagat hai aur jagat se hi ho(background laughing sound). Prof.. aacha thik

JAGAT- Sir, Would you please tell me what does ips aim to contribute
(everyone making expression to express their dislike towards jagat) ?

Prof. (Patiently) OK, let me tell you | The indian police service aims to
contribute to the effective functioning of the law and order and the
safety of the nation. Remember, success in the Police Services
Examination. is not just about memorizing facts. It's about
 understanding the principles and applying them. Now, let's solve a
few case studies to proceed with today's session.

Prof. :Let us revise the topics covered a short while ago.. Priya, can you
explain the concept of anticipatory bail again ?

Priya - Yes Sir, Anticipatory bail is granted to a person who apprehends

arrest in a non - bailable offense. It's a preventive measure against
unjust detention. Jagat .. Aayein (background laughing sound)

JAGAT to KETAN - This preparation is intense, but I am determined to

make it through.

Prof. :What happened beta? Why do you look so tensed and worried ?

JAGAT-: Sir, I am not quite good at Englis as I come from a village and
also I am not as smart as everybody else is in this class.
( everyone proud of themselves)

Prof. : Hmm.. Dear aspirants, I see the determination in each one of

you, and I understand the apprehensions that come with the
 preparation. Remember, this journey is not just about the destination,

Can you briefly explain the fundamental rights guranteed by the

Indian constitution and their significance in ensuring individual
liberties ? Yes. quick .... ! !

KAshvi - Yes, of course Sir . It is right to equality, right to freedom, right

against exploitation, safeguard individual liberties etc. These ensure
citizen's protection from arbitrary state actions and promote equality
and justice.

Prof. Sharma - Excellent Kashvi ! Well said !(proud look on kashvi's

face)

KETAN - Sir, If you don't mind - May I ask you a personal question ?

PROF -OK .... What do you want to ask ? Go ahead.

KETAN- Would you like your son to follow ur dreams or follow his
passion ?

PROF- Of course, I would like him to follow his passion but at the same
time I would exhort him to atleast complete his study to reinforce his
knowledge. But why are you asking me this question?

KETAN - Actually Sir, I wish to become a photographer but my parents

wish me to become an IPS officer and I find it so difficult to convince
them of my passion. (Sadly) Let’s see where my destiny takes me !

PROF. - Oh, I see ! Develop courage in yourself and learn to put across
your feelings and heartfelt desires to your loved ones. Inculcate single
minded devotation . Listen to your instincts, they are silent messages
from God. Discover your Destiny …

JAGAT - Sure Sir, | I am JAGAT –A Graduate with III Division - but

confident to crack today's interview session based on my truth, sincerity and
integrity.
Chairperson - (Sarcastically looking at him as he is browsing through his
file) My God !! You failed in class 12th once… Shall we have such people
to become the future custodians of law and order ? I doubt. Look at his
personality, body language and stark straight forwardness. I don't approve.
I think you can go!

Interviewer 1 - (to Chairperson) Sir, let us at least ask him a few question
s to test his intellect and attitude. (Others agree) (asks him a question)

JAGAT My unique combination of education, experience and a

commitment to public service sets me apart. I bring a diverse skill set,
diligence and optimism . I am strongly rooted to the values of the IPS,
driven by a heartfelt commitment to ensuring safety and justice for all.

Int. 2 Who inspired you to pursue this profession ?

JAGAT- All credit goes to DGP - Mr. ADARSH SINGH who ignited a
spark with in me years ago by his goodness, nobility of character,
truthfulness and passion towards his job. Then on I never looked back ....
started from the scratch, came to Delhi for preparation and chased my
ambition with single minded devotion.

Int. 3 - If given a chance, what changes will you bring about in the
transformation of the law and order, safety and security of our nation ?
JAGAT - I will try to foster collaboration between police and common
man, embracing a culture of transparency and honesty at the grass root
level. Village level law enforcement and fostering community awareness
will be on my priority list.

Jagat – sir then I will go back to my village to be a teacher and teach

children not to cheat

If I can't be a skn that shines over the earth I can still be a lamp that lights up
